Many have their tracking show ready then go to AP or issued, not uncommon.

I see, thanks hank... I will update VJ as soon I get a change status... It's been 5 days now since I got the ready status.. No changes yet since it's a weekend here and a holiday in states...

When the Embassy decides whether to accept the co-sponsor, I hope they keep in mind that they have the opportunity to reunite a father with his daughter. It's the right thing to do.

Yes true indeed... I also read somewhere that they have to also consider the right of the child to have a complete family... I think it's one of the amercan law under child law... Considering my kids is an American citizen.

Hi Hank and Tahoma!!!

So its been two weeks now that my status on CEAC is "READY" (open case). So i tried calling USEM this morning and i was informed that my case is on its "FINAL PROCESSING". i have read threads here at VJ that when its final processing it has to be issued status on their CEAC. My CEAC Status READY never changed until now. i Don't understand what does their final processing mean? please let me understand.... Should i get worried? Is there a possibility that they would not issue my visa and deny it after the final processing?

my case status always says not available. I asked NVC and they stated already shipped to Manila on Feb 19th

hehehe-that system does not work. NVC would not give package shipper number

Hang in there poolbruce.. Mine actually took a month til Manila USEM receive my case from NVC...

Applying for visa is surely a testing of patience and a waiting game...

And Manila USEM did not contacted the beneficiary that the case is ready for interview.... Manila usem actually sent a letter to the petitioner in states that the case is ready for interview.... Imagine the time that both offices send document back and forth from Manila and states... That's quite time consuming..

I am hanging in there just upset on how our government has no respect for married couples. Their work effort is so poor and no one cares

including upper management. I would never have gotten where I was working like our government. No wonder most people are so apathetic

and non interested in our political system.
