Hi bsuboyus,

1. AOS Fee bill is the amount you pay to the NVC for them to mail you the I-864, which is the affidavit of support form.

2. The DS3032 is the Choice of Agent form, where the foreign spouse says where her DS230 package should be sent (to the spouse her/himself, to the USC, to a lawyer, etc...)

3. I can't help on that!

4. IV Fee Bill is the visa fee. You also pay that to the NVC. Once they get that payment they will mail the foreign spouse the DS230 package.

5. As I said on #1, is the affidavit of support form. I don't know anything about the shortcut.

6. The DS230 package is the Instruction Package. It includes the DS230 form plus the list of documents you'll need to send with it to the NVC and the documents you'll need for the interview (and that might change from country to country).

I hope this helps you a bit! Good luck!

The DS-3032 short cut is where well ahead of time you should e-mail , send via mail, or download on her end the DS-302 form and fill it out and sign it, and send it back to the petitioner(USC) if that is the person who will be doing the papers at that point. This form is to have her tell NVC who will be doing the papers once tey begin the process at NVC. It is best usually to have the petitioner in the U.S. do this. So she will fill out this form as soon as you have an NVC Case Number. You will use James short cuts to create a bar code and glue it to the top of the DS-3032 form before sending it to NVC. You will glue it where it says place barcode here. In addition you will want her to e-mail NVC using short cuts as well. To do this, she will e-mail NVC and request that the USC (petitioner) if that is to be the case, be the one to be sent the papers. So yu are simply repeating what you are doing on paper. Often times, the e-mail will be replied to quickly and the paper should still be sent anyway, as a back up. Go to the short cuts prompt and read thru it and Lorelle has done an awsome job of explaining the short cuts in depth, and their purpose. If questions at that point, ask away, and some one will surely be glad to help you out.

Nice to have many who will help at your request.

Good Luck, and Happy New Year.

I would suggest reading the NVC Timesavers Thread which is pinned at the top of the NVC forum.

For the DS3032 shortcut, we actually emailed the Choice of Agent, and received confirmation 2 days later. If you email you don't need to submit the paper form if they confirm that they have received it.

I read the Timesavers Thread and the NVC Flowchart in the guides and it really helped me understand the process, I would suggest studying both of those :)

Good luck with everything!

Sandy
