I tried booking for an interview schedule for us tourist visa, i want a May schedule but all dates were unavailable including june, july and so forth...only month available is April.. Feb and march were also unvailable. Is it possible that posting of schedules were just 2 months ahead from the current month that's why they haven't open yet for May schedule? Does anyone has an idea when they will open the May slot for interview? Thank you so much for those who can enlighten me..

I don't think anyone can have any idea as to when openings will be available. There might be openings if someone cancels their appointments. I don't know how far ahead they open up slots but you can schedule an interview and reschedule ONCE without penalties so you can choose a schedule now so you can at least reserve a date and then reschedule once a slot opens up in May.

Thank you for answering, but i have a follow up question, yes it is a good idea to schedule now and have it rescheduled if there's available date that i want but the question is, will they allow me to reschedule without canceling my appointment first? Will i see it online or maybe the call center can view available dates without canceling my appointment first? Im afraid that if i will take the chance just to look for other available dates,i might lose my original sched and the date that i want will not be available also. I hope there's a way that i can view/know the available scheds without canceling my appointment, that's why im not picking any dates up to now so that i still can track available dates. Thanks again

yeah u could have your schedule now and just keep checking on the site because sometime they have some slot that was earlier.like in our case we have our schedule that would b on feb 20 of this year but last january my fiance was able to reschedule as earlier as we wanted and now im here now w him for almost 11 days.i mean theres no harm in gettng that schedule but u need to cancel it first as soon as u seen a available date that u want. and do it fast as u could coz slot gone so fast ;)

Thanks and congrats on your wedding! I am also going to marry a USC, what i was booking is for my parents tourist visa so that they can attend my wedding, :) anyway.. I believe that its true that you should cancel first your appointment before you can view available slots, but i think on the left side corner on online scheduling it states what is the earliest available sched, it is good for those who wanted an early sched.. But what im aiming was a later sched of interview for my parents, just right after mine.. Mine will be on April 29, But unluckily i dont know if its really unvailable/occupied/not yet posting sched for the month of May because considering were only on the month of feb. Maybe i will just call tom their call center to try if i can have sched on May even if they dont post it yet online, i guess they post only 2 months from the current month because may, june, july, august 2014 etc were not yet available. Well still hoping that is the case..any additional insight or idea about posting of available scheds online will be greatly appreciated :)
