Do i need new PCC

Hello friends,

When i left UK permanently in last may-2013 that time i took Pcc from uk...its almost 9 months..since then i m in india...do i need to get again new pcc from uk? Or i can use the pcc which i can get it from india?

You need a PCC for every place you have lived for 6 months after the age of 16.

An applicant must obtain a police certificate from the local police authority:

IF you…

AND…

have been living in your country of nationality at their current residence for more than 6 months

you are 16 years old or older

lived in a different part of your country of nationality for more than 6 months

you were 16 years or older at that time

lived in a different country for more than 12 months

you were 16 years or older at that time

were arrested for any reason

you were any age at the time of the arrest

I do not know how long the UK PCC is valid for at the embassy you are going to. Does it have an expiration date?

Some countries do not give out PCC for non-nationals not living in that country, so you need to always check the reciprocity tables on the NVC website. Also some countries do not give out credible PCCs so you don't need one from that country.

since you left uk , then pcc you have from UK should be ok.
