Hi! Thanks for the help. We already scheduled an appointment with the Embassy. My wife's interview date is May 8. Are you saying if we e-mail IVMNLAppointments@state.gov when our case status changes to "Ready" we can get an earlier interview date?

Yes If u email USEM and was authorized then you can schedule the earlier appointment date. Yes once your ceas status change to READY at least 3 days from today it will change..

Hi this is a good thread. Just wanted to know if I will be scheduled for an interview a month after is there any chance we can reschedule to the earliest interview date as long as the ceac status changed to "READY"? Or we should follow the schedule they will provide for us? Thanks in advance for any replies. And yes, congrats to you all who got approved. I'm so excited for you all. God bless!

Sorry for the late reply...what i did was i kept on checking my passport status coz ceac is not accurate... and 12:30pm 02/27/14 i received my visa, thanks to God talaga. Super happy now... lol!

Hey! I am not on expedite process. Here's what I did.

1. Checked with NVC when they sent my package.

2. Once the DHL tracking said it was received, call the Manila USEM and asked if they already have the "physical" file. DHL shows my package was received on Feb 11, 2014, then called Feb 12 and was told that the file was not yet physically at the USEM because it has to pass by security thing and might take weeks but they will try to get it that week.

My original p4 interview date was March 13, 2014 but we kept on rescheduling it. I resched it on Feb 19 but it says on the cgifederal.secure.force.com that you should cancel your appointment within 24 hours to avoid delay. I cancelled my Feb 19 appointment on Feb 17th and resched it again for Feb 20, because I was not able to call them on Feb 17 due to the US holiday to confirm that the file was physically received. Then called them again on Feb 18th to check if they have the physical file and was it already received and was told i should have been ready for interview on Feb 19th.

Here is our detailed timeline:

11/07/2012 - Married

12/07/2012 - I-130 Received at the Chicago Lockbox

12/12/2012 - Received NOA1 in the mail

03/04/2013 - RFE received for a completed G-325A

03/11/2013 - RFE Response Sent to Chicago Lock Box as per the USCIS Rep

03/14/2013 - RFE Received

04/23/2013 - Confirmed with USCIS L2 rep that the RFE was received

05/20/2013 - Received a denial Email

05/24/2013 - NOA2, I-797 Denial letter received. Reason - Due to Abandonment (can only be reopened or re--filed and not appealable)

05/31/2013 - Emailed the Ombudsman to complain regarding incorrect info provided by USCIS L1 and L2 Reps that lead to the denial.

06/14/2013 - Got a Response from DHS that they received and will try to help us.

06/21/2013 - Got an email from the Ombudsman that they requested for our case to be re-called from National Records Center and back to our Service Center which is the St. Paul SC. Turn around time is 3 weeks since it is on it's way to NRC. ( St. Paul SC - NRC back to St. Paul)

06/26/2013 - Sent a new I-130

07/01/2013 - New I-130 received by Chicago Lockbox

07/08/2013 - Got 3 email from USCIS. 1st email 12:01am PH Time- says our case was reopened and will be reviewed within 30 days and will be notified by mail for the decision. 2nd email 1:31am PH Time - says, Our case was approved and was mailed an instruction to follow. 3rd email 1:31am PH Time - says, It was reopened and was mailed a notification about the case being reopened(Yes- 2nd and 3rd Email were sent at the same time). On the USCIS check status link, it just says the same as the 3rd email.

07/11/2013 - Got NOA2

NVC Journey

07/25/2013 - NVC Case number generated

07/29/2013 - NVC hard copy received

08/01/2013 - AOS Paid online

08/02/2013 - AOS showed paid online

08/02/2013 - IV invoice received through email

09/26/2013 - Mailed withdrawal letter for the 2nd I-130

11/01/2013 - Received email of the confirmation of the withdrawal

11/08/2013 - AOS sent by mail

11/25/2013 - IV Paid

11/26/2013 - IV Packet mailed

12/09/2013 - IV Packet received

12/12/2013 - AOS RFE Received

12/17/2013 - Medical exam at St. Luke's - PASSED!!! Arrived before 3:30am(#6), completed the exams at 9am. Returned 1:30pm for the results. Confirmed for immunization(first batch) at 2pm. (Just asked the nurse). 3:30pm Left SLEC with the x-ray cd and immunization document.

12/31/2013 - AOS RFE Sent

01/08/2014 - Checklist about not receiving the AOS came in email

01/08/2014 - AOS RFE received by NVC

01/27/2014 - CASE COMPLETE

01/29/2014 - P4 email received - Interview date March 13, 2014, rescheduled online interview to February 12, 2014

02/06/2014 - Cancelled Feb 12 resched since the Casefile hasn't been shipped. Resched it to Feb 19

02/07/2014 - CEAC in Transit

Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions.

02/11/2014 - Delivered - Signed for by : RAY SANTOS

02/18/2014 - Called Manila USEM and the lady checked my file at the operations and it is already there! My interview will be on February 20, 2014

02/20/2014 - Approved! Schedule is 6:30am and got done at 11:30am / CEAC shows "ISSUED"

02/25/2014 - 2go says In transit using UID

02/26/2014 - Visa received by my sister since i was not home. I had to leave an authorization letter and photoopies of my ID and my sis' id.

02/26/2014 - My love booked me for March 7 tho he wanted March 1 lol..

03/08/2014 - POE LAX
