Lisa- no it's not that one. Those ones are weird though too. This is just like a longer PT cruiser or something. Barfola!

I can't remember which make and model it was, but there was a car that, in order to change the oil, the engine had to be removed. No kidding.

I've never heard of that before. I'm sure it was some custom or extremely pricey sports car, if it even exists. It's certainly no production vehicle.

It was an American production model. I remember because they were discussing complaints about it on a consumer protection show.

Please back up your comment with a make and model. I'm definitely intrigued to see what vehicle this was. I work in auto parts in my part-time and I've never heard of such a beast.

I may not be able to, but I'll try. I'm 53 and it was long ago. I have friends who are mechanics; they have told me of worse and steer me clear of what is not well designed.

Remember the Pinto? The Gremlin?

My father had a Pinto (Brown)...he got into a horrible crash in it. Tore up his back...his next vehicle was a 1979 Suburban. ha

My mother had a Gremlin (also ####### Brown). Here is a short list of some other vehicles we had: Maverick, Rambler, Pacer to go along with the Gremlin and Pinto. Then my mom moved up to a Chevy Cavalier in the Mid-80's and my dad went luxury with a 1981 Chevy Monte Carlo (a real beautiful car at the time and it was nearly 20K back then).

Those Scion things are crappy. Did you see the cinema ad for it where they show how many different ways you can tart up a box ;)

Strangely it never seems to look all that different. Probably me...
