Never? No, but American automakers overall, fell behind German and Japanese automakers long ago and still haven't caught up. Why? Different business philosophy. German and Japanese automakers have a tradition of wanting to make cars that are reliable - that last. Their track record speaks for itself.

GM now offers a five-year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty with no deductible.

When a car hits the 100,000 mile mark, it's a good idea to retire it and get a new one

whether it's American or Japanese.

So you think you're supporting America when you buy a Ford or Chevy? What about the rest of your purchases? Are they also made by American companies?

So you think you're supporting America when you buy a Ford or Chevy?

Ultimately, I am supporting U.S. corporations instead of German corporations or Japanese corporations.

I am also not contributing to the growing current account deficit.

What about the rest of your purchases? Are they also made by American companies?

Mostly yes, except when I have no choice. Too many things are made in China, there's no escaping it.

If it was possible, I wouldn't buy any Chinese-made #######.

Aye, Mark...you can't be serious? Walmart, for example is an 'American' corporation, but they single-handedly have contributed $18 Billion dollars to our trade deficit with China. It's not as simple as just buying from a U.S. Company anymore. You have to look under the hood.

I bet Saddam Hussein had a PT Cruiser.

Who ever the jerk was that design the PT Cruiser should have been fired from the company then hanged along with Sddam lol

He's such a jerk there's a waiting list to buy them. What a dumb azz!

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

I agree. Look under the hood of your Japanese car and tell me if it has more

American parts than a Ford or Chevy.

my car and truck (both chevy) start with a '2' so i'm busy contributing to the canadian economy :P

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
