Who did experienced fast approval of EAD/AP after Biometrics and what is your time frame.

Timeline

I had my biometrics Jan 17 and received my EAD in the mail Feb 1,2013.

N-400 process

03/03/16 Submitted N-400 application and docs
03/09/16 USCIS ackn rcpt (txt, email, and NOA1) and chk cashed
03/29/16 Biometrics (walked in - orig date 04/05/16)
04/04/16 In Line for an Interview (txt, email, and checked case status)

05/16/16 Scheduled for an Interview (Case Status Online)

05/20/16 Received I/L
06/24/16 Interview date (PASSED)
07/20/16 Oath-taking at LACC ( I AM NOW A US CITIZEN!!!)

As you will learn, some get thier EAD/AP earlier than others. Typically, it takes about 10 weeks after the NOA1 to get the combo card. Just my personal experience.

Yours is only 9 days my mistakes of saying about 2 months.

God is good.

It looks like the poster filed under CR1 and not K1. From my understanding, CR1 filers are able to work and travel immediately after POE. Perhaps, it was just administrative things that had to be processed to get the card so quickly?

I am filing under K1 as well and will be doing my AOS when I get to the US… I've been told that it normally does take the full 90 days to get the combo card.

AOS

2014

July 05 - AOS package sent

July 14 - NOA 1

July 25 - Biometrics Appointment Letter

July 28 - Walk in Biometrics successful

Aug 27 - Request for Expedite on EAD (Job Offer)

Sept 12 - EAD approved and in production

Sept 12 - AP is approved but USCIS status is in 'Post Decision Activity'

Sept 18 - EAD marked as mailed

2015

April 09 - Interview - Delayed due to sealed package from civil surgeon not at local office

May 07 - GC in production

May 18 - GC in hand!!!

2017

Feb 9 - ROC 

Feb 14 - Check Cashed

Feb 16 - NOA 1

Feb 25 - Received Biometrics Appointment

2018

April 10 - N400 Application

April 29 - Biometrics

January 29 - Combo Interview / Recommendation for Approval 

February 20 - Oath Ceremony - NATURALIZED

I am just hoping that I can get my combo card before 90 days, day to day is frustrating only miracles makes it happen faster, others get theirs fast, hope everyone in government do their part as many people waiting.

Its been 48 days since I filed my AOS with AP/EAD and February 3, 2014 Biometrics Appointment at Charlotte, NC.

Really I been Praying so hard for mine.
