Long way from filing the I-751. But my wife is considering attending a dorm college, and it's pretty far from where I live. I only read the original post, but it says pictures not the best evidence but certainly expected. joint financials would be easy to obtain, but I am a bit worried about the pictures because if she does attend a distant college, she will be busy with assignments, exams, studying, she will not have much time to visit me. And I will be busy with work so I will not have much time to visit her. The opportunity to spend time together will be limited which I fear we will be lacking in the photo evidence. I feel like that may negatively impact the case. I searched the board and found one person who was attending an out of state college and was filing the I-751, but it looks like he never logged in after making the topic and no updates from him.

Went sent -0- photos for any process except ONE for the petition and FOUR for the K-1 interview. Never had a problem or RFE. Photos are so easily faked/photo-shopped that they are fairly low on the evidence scale. I scratched them right off the list.

Attending college away is not a problem, per se, as long as you document a legitimate marriage. USCIS is not going to say you cannot get the education you want and educational documents can be excellent evidence in themselves. Who is her "emergency contact" in school records? For medical emergencies? What is her HOME address on file at the school? See. WHO is paying for the school? Does she have student loans? Is there a FAFSA? Who's income is listed on the FAFSA and student loans? No student loans? GET ONE! Hold the money and pay it back but it is additional evidence. Keep travel records for visits for either of you. All good stuff.

Good luck!
