March Visa Bulletin has NO GOOD NEWS for F2A filers

March bulletin still stuck at 2013 sept!! anyone has an idea regarding whats going on

Yes, there were a flood of applications when F2A was current and now all those applications are keeping the priority date where it is as they are processed. It will probably stay that way for some time.

this was predicted some time back. I read something from Charles Oppenheimer from uscis last year when he said that F2a row would stay at the current date until March 2914. So this is not really a surprise.

you should just pray that F2a doesn't retrogress across the board.

The normal waiting time before this "current" thing happened with F2A was 2.5 - 3 YEARS (yes!!!).

It was pure luck for most of the 2013 that their cases were processed in less than a year (faster than spouses/children of US citizens).

I don't think anyone will "die" from retrogression.

That's sure it will be retrogresses June or July 2012 . But I think you have to be hold your heart. It's happen with everyone.

Standard wait time LPR filling for spouse and children is 2-3 years. SO be strong and face the problem.

80 thousand visas are available during the year but 220 thousand people are on the waiting list. So NVC changes the date issue visas to those who are in the queue longer .

for example:

F2A 08OCT11

Before this queue moved to 2-3 months ahead each month.

the fact that cut off date for PD didnt retrogressed further for ROW even after 6 months (since oct 2013 when they frozed it at 8-Sept 13 ) seems like a good sign to me. My logic says, they didnt get floods of application like they did for Mexico. so the impact should not be as big as mexico... wht do u guys think?

this is my analysis too. That it's a good sign that the PD froze for 6 months straight. Which could mean that they have not over exceeded demands because if yes they have been retrogressed for march same with mexico. But it made me worried about the prediction of other people lol. Anyway, no one really knows but I'm praying it will move so this 4 year long distance of me and my significant other will soon end.
