I noticed today that there was a new edition to the I-130 form asking for an affidavit of proof regarding marriage, but when I completed my forms it wasn't there at the time. Although I put my packet together a while back I was still waiting for my marriage certificate. Once recv'd I made several copies and attached to the packet and mailed it today. I did provide my marriage cert along w/pictures but I didn't send the affidavit. Do you think I might have a problem or would they just send me a RFE?

you can still send in prior editions, I did. I do get a RFE, great! I am ready will give them anything, IMs, emails, wedding pics and all the affidavits they want. It would be nice to have them see all this before the interview.

I'm like you, I sent in my paperwork before this new addition. I didn't send any photos, emails or phone bills. I don't have my husband on my lease because he is not living here in the USA and we don't have a joint bank account either. However, that said, at the time I filled out my I-130 they weren't asking for all of this. I did get a RFE and it wasn't for proof of my marital relationship, what it asked for was my husband's birth certificate. We are now further along in the process meaning I am waiting for my I-864 paperwork to arrive and I just paid my IV fee bill.

We will be prepared for the interview with emails, photos, and affidavits from friends, co-workers and family concerning the knowledge of our marriage and that is about it. Because I can't have him on the lease until he arrives, the bank joint account I don't have him on since he is overseas and he needs to be present to sign on the account from what I understand. That's about it.

I'm so glad I sent a copy of my husband birth cert as well. I had no intentions of doing so but I changed my mind at the last minute. Well I hope all goes well and I will bring the add'l info to the interview.
