D. MEXICO VISA AVAILABILITY

MEXICO F2A: Continued heavy demand in the Mexico F2A category has resulted in the retrogression of this cut-off date to hold number use within the annual numerical limit.

It should be noted that there are many applicants with priority dates which are earlier than any listed cut-off dates. A cut-off date does not mean that everyone with a priority date before such date has already processed their case to conclusion, and received a visa.

E. VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

Worldwide dates:

F1: Two to four weeks

F2A: No forward movement is expected

F2B: Four to seven weeks

F3: Four to six weeks

F4: Two or three weeks

Gosh there will be no movement for F2A in the coming months sad. F2A is probably not going move until October then when a new set of visa numbers are allotted.:-(

Hello everyone!

We just checked the Visa Bulletin for March 2014, but the following paragraph confused us:

"NOTE: For March, F2A numbers EXEMPT from per-country limit are available to applicants from all countries with priority dates earlier than 15APR12. F2A numbers SUBJECT to per-country limit are available to applicants chargeable to all countries EXCEPT MEXICO with priority dates beginning 15APR12 and earlier than 08SEP13. (All F2A numbers provided for MEXICO are exempt from the per-country limit; there are no F2A numbers for MEXICO subject to per-country limit.)"

Our PD is May 16th, 2013 (spouse from Costa Rica), we got NOA2 and we received our case number from NVC yesterday. Do we have to worry about it? I think we will complete the AoS and next steps this month, but will NVC schedule the interview at the US consulate even if there's a F2A retrogression in the following months?

Thank you so much in advance for your responses. :)

yes indiatocali I agree with you US has some shitty law, old laws need to be change. They just follow what's write in the book if some one die they don't care.

Like in my case I have a 5 months old baby in India law says he can come as long as I am on LPR , if I become a citizen then have to file another I-130 means more wait , and my case is already completed at NVC and still have to face this BS.

There are bunch of things where you find yourself handicap because of great law.

And that's why I am thinking no family and social life here.
