Manila Interview scheduled!!!!

Hi all,

Thought I would share the news....I just recieved the appointment letters in the mail today for my wife and step daughter....FEB 8th....about 2 months sooner than we expected.....the embassy web site however does not have or case numbers in thier appointment list...go figure.....anyway we have our interview date..

Congratulations Jazzy!!! I at least have a glimmer of hope that we just might have a March interview since we'll almost a month behind you. We're hoping and praying hard.

Did you receive the interview appointment letter at your US address? There are so few CR-1s here that I was not sure if either I or my asawa, or both, would receive it. As agent of choice, I was thinking that all correspondence would be sent to me.

There are so few CR-1s here that I was not sure if either I or my asawa, or both, would receive it. As agent of choice, I was thinking that all correspondence would be sent to me.

Whem I was the agent, the packet along with the interview letter was sent to her by the US Embassy in Manila.

Hi,

If the USC is the agent then the USC gets the initial appointment letter, my question was whether or not my wife and step daughter will recieve anything from the embassy. If you are the agent you get the first response from the NVC about the interview with the cr visa.

I didn't received anything from NVC about the interview date. I had to call NVC to find out about about it. I did however received a letter that my case was sent to the US Embassy (not interview date). From there, my wife received the appt letter & packet. I guess we all have procedures run a little differently now days.
