I'm really tempted to go to bed. The only thing stopping me is the fear of waking up in a few hours then not be able to go back to sleep till 3-4 am. I have enough problems with afternoon naps.

Oh and I have heartburn thought I's share. :P

my daughter gave me near constant heartburn in the last 2 months. I think it was because she firmly lodged her feet under my ribcage on the right side. My ribs actually stick out further on that side and she's almost 11.

I just spent an hour looking for clocks.........Grrr.......

Well, time to go eat......

How would you know how long you spend looking for clocks, without one?

How would you know that it's time to eat?

Inquiring minds want to know, si man.

I wish it I only had it for the last 2 months, at least I have less then a month now. My ribs have expanded from more then one of the kids. #4 was the longest at 22 inches and I swore he was up in my lungs for months.

All this for 9 months, and then ending it by, essentially, trying to pass a watermelon through your nostril.

Saturday GS report, see man:

Unwillingly awoke too, but not super-too, early, prepped, and urged Mrs. T-B. to roust herself & Mini-B. from deep slumber. Surprisingly, we were out of the casa relatively soon after that, whee man.

At first GS, Mrs. T-B. found a couple of mats that she plans to take to Mama-Mrs.-T-B. in Ecu. Cost = $1.

At second GS (actually, an ES [estate sale] at 50% off), I went in first, leaving Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. in the back seat of the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile. Found a small kitchen tongs for half a buck. Came out, saw commotion around the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile. Some Chinese lady (CL) had backed her SUV into the Mrs. T-B.-mobile, causing a dent & scratch above the right rear tyre (British spelling). Being egged on by a busybodyette bystanderette, the CL was refusing to provide her insurance information, in contradiction of state law.

The busybodyette loudly claimed, "If she (Mrs. T-B.) hadn't been parked where she was, you (CL) wouldn't have hit her! It's her (Mrs. T-B.'s) fault!" The CL began parroting this. We ultimately had to call the cops in order to pry the insurance info out of the CL. The cop arrived within minutes and was rather nice, transcribing mutual insurance info himself and handing it to each of us. When we left, the CL was trying to convince him to give us a ticket for parking in a fire lane (along with 7 other vehicles, on private property).

After this 25-minute delay, I made the decision that we would continue the GS trek, over Mrs. T-B.'s objections. This one (the next-nearest to us, this weekend) was 12 miles distant, and it was disappointing. Another wasn't too far away, but I heeded the increasing stridency of Mrs. T-B. (for whom this portion of the month is rather physically and emotionally suboptimal) and instead took us home.

There, I called our insurance co. (the claims lady laughed at the busybodyette's reasoning of fault) while Mrs. T-B. fed Mini-B. and prepared her portion of Mama T-B.'s birthday largesse. We then retrieved Mama T-B., took her to a Mexican restaurant for a feast and free birthday sopapillas, introduced Mama T-B. to Aldi Foods (where we got a staggering amount of stuff for $Many, meaning $47.68), off-dropped Mama T-B. at her casa, returned to our casa, and carried a zonked-out Mini-B. and the groceries inside, zzz wee and si man.

Summary: We spent $1.50 (<$Many) on our GS sojourn, $i man.

Whenever a car is in reverse, that's the car at fault... Doesn't matter much what the other car is doing. China lady must have been a Fook. Here, we call that "fook logic"

Define "fook" again, please man. In fact, Mrs. T-B. said that the CL hit the Mrs. T-B.-mobile and kept trying to accelerate, then claimed "I didn't see you" and then got into the "you shouldn't have parked there so that I'd hit you" stuff.

Mrs. T-B. said that the CL was apparently ready to swap info before the busybodyette horned in. (Had the latter still been around when the cop showed up, I'd have recommended arrest for practicing law without a license).

Fook- A Chinese illegal immigrant from Fujian, China. Known for barbaric ethics, ill manners, crass and rude public behavior, and overall stupidity.

There's about 30 million of them in NYC alone...

To add, anytime there's a car in motion, and a car that's parked (legal or otherwise), the car in motion is at fault. With one exception. If the parked car's doors open on the street side, and the door is struck by a moving vehicle traveling forward. It's the parked car's fault.

Law in regards to fire hydrants, and fire lanes. The law is "No parking". not "No Standing". there's a big difference between the 2.

"Standing" means a car is temporarily stopped to discharge or pick up passengers, and waiting a "reasonable" amount of time. ("reasonable" is at the Discretion of the police officer/ peace officer).

"Parking" means a car is left unattended for an indefinite amount of time.

There is also "No Stopping" but that doesn't apply here. No Stopping means No Stopping.
