Not just Birth tourism....No visa required- Marianas Birth tourism. Saipan. Anyone with a plane ticket can get in. Anyone born on the island is an American.

You don't know how bad the Fooks are until you see it here. They think they can pull out of a space and not yield to traffic already in the street. They think they can cut off heavy traffic to make a U-turn across a double solid yellow line. They think it's perfectly OK to ride their scooters down the wrong way on a one way street, and run red lights. Traffic control means nothing to them. If you drive for 1 block on 8th ave, you will experience all of the above.

Kid comes to USA after age 21, can file for the parents, IR-5 visa. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezies.

Throw in a college education also, not at international student rates, and it's a win win.

9 years? No you foolish man....since 2009. The visa requirement to Saipan was lifted in 09. At first there were only a handful, then it multiplied exponentially.

Today was weird.

We had a bit of free time before an 'appointment' , so we went to the SuitMart 'Big and Tall' shop, to find clothes for her brother. He's fat, fatter than me and I got a personal shopper to help out,

when

the 'appointment' called up and said to come now, rather than be late. well #### me, that's a slog to downtown I not want to make. At least not then, as this shop closes at 7 for some ungodly reason.

So, we get to her 'appointment', I drop her off, go do my stuff, come back to pick her up, and she closes the car door on her foot. Usually I help her in and out of the car, her being such a delicate flower, but not this time.

She screamed and carried on, I did a quick triage, no broken bones, and slogged out to the local CVS for stuff to stablize her foot, wrapped in an actual ice pack, and downed some tylenol . Usually I carry a comprehensive first aid / EMT kit in my car, but we switched cars yesterday and I not think to switch out the three packs I always carry. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr and #### me.

Then, she wanted chinese chinese food, so we slog over to China town - the HOV expressway is bogged down, some idiot broke down (this is a one-lane go-fast lane) and we ain't going fast for 5 miles. Finally I ge there, and I carry her into the restaurant. And the sauces are watered down. #### me.

Still, she eats. We bring it home, I give her a piggy back ride into the car, out of the car, and she's now rewrapped and has more pain meds.

What was the 'appointment'? She made a friend last friday, from her hometown, I still not know what they talked about today. I'm getting rather short with not keeping on my daytime schedule, but we'll normalize more as she gets over the Jetlag.
