True true, they're enroute. Gump want to borrow the Yukon later...

Go put it in the shop for a week.

I feel like your mom might forgive your choice in spouse once he shows all of his good qualities that make you love him. She probably won't forgive such a massive lie on top of not being invited to your wedding.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Kit I got it! smile.png

Tell your mom that you're representing Singapore in the 2015 summer Special Olympic Games in Seattle.

Then when you get here, tell her you met and fell in love with a US Olympic athlete, and that you're never going home again smile.png

there. fixed.

Kit you'll have to come up with a solution.

Now that I kinda know some of the facts. What you're doing is definitely not the answer.

Again, we're not criticizing you.

Just chiming in as bystanders

I've got to agree. Sucks big time her mother doesn't want to accept. Get to the USA, say mom I got pregnant and have to get married? What's worse marrying a round eye or a baby out of wedlock?

Oh send flowers with a note once she gets here "Roses are red, You'll be so blue, I'm marrying a round eye, You can come or say F you"

Kit is really giving up a lot to come be with me. Since her family has to be in the dark, its like she's giving up them too. It's sad thinking that I might not ever get to meet them, and if I do it might destroy their relationship. I feel grateful she's willing to go through with it even with all this hard stuff. She puts up with a lot, including me and my nose digging.

Maybe she doesn't want him undressing in front of her mom?

More importantly. We need your "Oracle" input here....read!

Is really difficult on this one,

as

Mom had a 20 year period of living free, outside the home, for 20 years, 8 to 10 hours a day,

and now she's not having that 'freedom' anymore.

So her outlook is skewed based on current environs,

and is different 'support group' now.

Will be really easy for Dad to get the Imam in for a smackdown and export to JL for some brain-washing and torture,

so

IMO, she's actually better off not telling anyone she's related to.

(Yes, I did say JL, the next big border town in the straights)

Convert to Islam and get your eyes fixed. Even Asians pick their noses, so no big deal there at least.

I never knew what a hard choice she was having to make. If theres any way she could let her family know the truth before she's married, I'd think it would save her trouble further down the line.

She knows how her family will react, especially her mom, and thinks this is the right way to go so I agree. She knows them better than me or anyone else.

I'd completely agree if they weren't in Singapore.

And what is JL?
