It's almost like a release?

Ah you lookie likie a round eye!

Maybe for me it was a release. I'm not so sure about her.

OK I'll admit it, I'm mostly round eye.

While Trophie is a "duh", I must agree with what she said that they may be more upset in the long run.

She can invite when she gets to America.

Well if he picks his nose frequently, I might be slightly concerned too.

But boo, you should just tell her the truth. It's YOUR life, YOUR decision to make, and YOUR responsibility to deal with outcome, whether good or bad.

Well the problem is the last time I told her, she cried so hard she had trouble breathing. I dunno how I'd handle it if something bad really did happen to her because of something I told her.

That is really sad, and I can really relate. My mother was a lively, spontaneous and intelligent woman with a passion for learning a life. She was abused by my father so long, she fell into mental illness and never really came out of it. I grieved for a long time over the death of the person she had been. I often felt anger that she could never snap out of it and be who she once was. I never did totally get over that, until the day she died.

I am really sorry to hear that. :( And I agree with Steve, that maybe it was a release for her.

That explains a little. The Muslim part, not Jonas. But still, being in Singapore and teaching English lit throws me off....she wouldn't strike me as the traditional type.

Has she straight forwardly told you how she feels about Jonas?

Maybe she expects this already? Maybe she really does like him?

Oh no, she definitely does not like him, from the very little she knows.

Nola: If she ever finds out, she would be super mad. Lets hope she doesn't :P

There's also merit to this.....

Tho I see a lotta mixed marriages here between Muslim and non Muslim.

Muslim men marrying other religions maybe, not so much the muslim women marrying other religions.

True for the Middle East. I think the opposite is true in Southeast Asia (at least Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) though.

Wire Fox Terrier won the best in Show.

It's about time a terrier got in.

I have been hating on the other breeds, I'm a terrier fan.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

And it is heavy carrying around that omission and the lies that are needed to cover it up.
