Having visited Arby's on Sunday, I played "wrapper" with the cat, rolling wadded wrappers for her to chase. She purred as loudly as I've ever heard her. Just now, she appeared with a wrapper in her mouth, dropped it at my feet, and looked up expectantly. She carried it from downstairs. The older child wants to play, awww man.

The kitty sounds adorable. A "cat cafe" recently opened here in Singers - I think the concept originated in Japan? Basically, you pay money ($12/hr) to sit in a cafe with cats and pet them. What a syndi-cat-e.

Never been with a Portuguese woman, but I'm guessing they might take offense to being called an egg tart.

I thought they were going to be serving cats there, when you said a cat cafe.

Not all states offer it.

I think the concept of Fooks, started in the mid 80s with a NY Chinatown woman named "big sister Ping" who started her riches by smuggling Fooks in ISO containers....leading to the "golden venture" where many fooks drowned....this is no longer the practice. They walk across the Mexican border or arrive as visa overstays now.

Nevertheless, one fook tells 2 friends, and they tell 2 friends....11,000,000 fooks later. Here they are :)

These Fooks have now established a university back in fujian, teaches how to traffic humans, counterfeit goods, etc....

The college is known as Fook U, USA......

Oh sorry....the term "Fook" was coined by the many decent Chinese Americans here who followed our laws, and immigration process thru the centuries. That inherited lives disrupted by these fujian intended immigrants.....

I fostered a couple poms one time. Took a month of daily brushing to get them back in good coat shape. There were both very sweet and my wife cried when they got adopted. She wanted me to keep them. But then she wasn't the one spending an hour every day brushing them either. One had championship type of coat and the other wasn't far behind. But dogs like that are a lot of work.

We did think of fostering dog after our first dog died.

Seems to be a lot of hard work and need to be constantly available during the weekends for adoption events.

Both of us work long hours. Unfair to cage them too long during the day, though we have decent fenced backyard for dog to roam (Fostering rule - not acceptable to leave the dog outside)

So we dropped the idea.
