It might be a TOS violation if I expressed several thoughts about some of the attendees. At least they'll freeze their hindquarters off for the next 3+ days, brrr man.

even the higher-end/pricier places we have looked at get the same type of reviews, so it doesn't look like upping our budget is going to make much of a difference.

reading about fuzzy black mold covering an entire wall (!!!), drug busts, shootings, car thefts, psycho management, etc, is making me have nightmares!

do complexes generally have a higher rate of theft/criminal activity?

Were the Popes Catholic?

Do bears poop in the woods?

In addition, depending on their construction, complexes can have a severe risk of fire. Fire from one apartment can spread through the attic and end up affecting many other units.

i never knew that about apartment complexes...guess i'll strike them off the list. :/

At least in our area, there are real estate agents who specialize in placing people in apartments. The good agents will carefully consider your budget and concerns and try their best to match you. Search for "apartment locators" and call a few.

HOA fees and have very strict regulations on what they can and cannot have in their front and back yards. IMO that's ridiculous when you own a home and someone says you can't do this or that with your own property.

People who end up on HOA Board of Directors have "God" complexes and usually no life of their own. Almost all will probably rot in hellfire.

Did 5 laundry loads, cleverly combined from 4. Inbetwixt, returned to Big Lots to buy a net $Many ($24.94) more of stuff on 20% discount. Went to Burger King to procure two 2-for-1 Whoppers on last day of relevant coupon's eligibility. Devoured Whoppers, in the manner of Part IV eating neonates. Took nap, zzz man. Observed outside temperature's decrease of about 50 degrees (no exaggeration) between day & eve. Did 3 of 5 work projects brought home on day of flu. Took personal temperature twice and detected no fever. Read Dr. Seuss book to Mini-B. Observed Mrs. T-B. translate Thomas book, on fly, into Spanish (not Spanish Fly) while reading it upside-down to Mini-B.
