hey she knew who da man...... :)

Look at her. From Pygmy to Ms. Cosmopolitan in a flash.....

Now if she'd only take some college courses like I told her to....

I met her 2001. I didn't deflower her till a couple of years later. Then I was still fooling around with my career, life, etc....

OK, I skimmed on the tuition a bit....it's not really absolutely 100% free for employees or dependents.

It ranges between 50% to 100% depending on the courses, and relation to the employee. So, it is safe to say, the minimum is 50% off. The maximum is 100% off.

I am so annoyed and sick of trying to fix this stupid tax problem. I feel like the "fix" will just get me in more trouble somehow... I might just leave it the way it is. Ermph.

I dun care what anyone says....80% of immigrants, I dun care what Visa category, are economical immigration.

Tiff included.....now she just happened to have found a sucker...I mean love.... while doing it.....(she better love me, I kill her)

You only get 97 dollars a month??

220, it is usually split in two payments a month.

I don't think its normally the case of either party using the other, its much more likely they just don't know each other. They think they love someone, but they're really in love with an idea in their head, and thats from both ends. When that idea in their head gets shattered with reality, that's when the marriage breaks down and claims of fraud and abuse pop up. What is abuse in the Philippines, is much different than what's abuse in the USA. Raise your voice even a little in an argument? Thats abuse over there. Here its pretty common and considered a heated argument. Say a swear word? Thats abuse over there, here again its pretty common. So now you have a Filipina feeling abused and an American guy thinking she ran out on him because it was her plan all along, so fraud. I've seen that more times than I can count. Heck I even needed to learn how to never let any emotion come into my voice if my wife and I had an argument, actually even arguments aren't allowed. You need to come at differences of opinion in an entirely different manner.

I knew a guy who drove his Filipina wife right out of the house because he was upset and dealing with it in a typical American way. Every time he tried to make up, he went right back to old habits, which chased her off again. He was positive she had scammed him. I think it took me about two months of talking with him until he finally learned how not to deal with a disagreement with a Filipina spouse. He even had an infopass all set up to report fraud. Now neither of them were angels in this, but it was part of their learning process of how to be a cross culture married couple. They're back together and very happy again. But they were a hair away from getting divorced with a scamming claim for two months. I doubt they would have gotten through it without me explaining a lot of things to him. Luckily she did on her side to, so things worked out.

I think both sides need a cheat sheet! Actually, it is the same for me and the Danish other half. People in their culture don't show much emotion or yell. I had to learn not to yell when I got really upset about something because it really unsettled him. I can imagine the other way around, just because of gender differences, it would be more upsetting. A man yelling during an argument at a woman not used to yelling... you'd bet she was upset and probably scared.

I'm pretty sure spouses/ dependents get discount tuition. Employees, free tuition. NYU ain't cheap bro....45-50K a year?

I took a few courses there....

I was going to take Danish through their adult whatever they call it, but I couldn't convince myself that 2 hours each way on the train was worth it.

I am gonna pray I get the job and then I will worry about him actually studying..pretty sure he would still need GED to apply for anything and unless I make sure he has it..he won't do it especially since I think we will both need to work as well.

The GED is kind of required and sometimes they'll require proof of the GED or the hs diploma.

My husband I think is ready to take the math and language arts sections in the coming weeks. He did well enough on the pre-test that he doesn't really need to study them and that is with him loosely having a 10th grade education in another language. The science and social studies he needs to read a little more on. He passed the pre-tests, but he's never had US history or most of the science...

I think your husband could probably take the test straight out of the block and pass without a problem having been to American schools and such.
