I'm on the verge of making a major decision too. I have come to not like my job. Can't see myself doing this even 2 years down the road.....

But your job appears to give you a lot of free time, surely that is good?

Funny story: so toilet is overflowing....she goes to poo....it doesnt flush. She leaves it as is then goes back in to pee 2 hours later (it smells great at that point) and the bathroom explodes and splashes all over the bathroom and towels (leaving mine untouched...not sure how that happened but no poo was found on mine - only)...I am terrible but I thought that was hilarious *cough karma.

I know they did...it is bad for Switzerland, I think. Most people in bigger cities voted no to the cap but then you have Ticino, which is where I lived...and I am pretty sure 98% said 'yes, cap please' lol.

Yeah, they interviewed people and some said thay they're wondering who (for example) will take care of the old people in nursing homes, since the citizens of Switzerland don't want to work some hard and ungrateful fields.

It's a great job. Especially the unlimited time off. But when you hear me complain bout it. Is it really ever unlimited time off?

There's a lot of freedom. And the salary is great. But I can't but feel like I been doing a prison sentence.

There is also politics. I feel like the other bosses here are the central communist party vying for power.....

Do you know where else would you wanna work...do you have anything else lined up even as an idea ? I know what you mean though, I enjoyed my last job...had freedom to come and go as I please, good money, nice office but the politics and no advancement was a killer. For me, it was about being challenged and learning new stuff, improving the processes...just because it works well enough doesn't mean it cannot be better....anyways..I hope you can find something more fulfilling !!

hahaha I don't know but it sounded like she was...certainly was complaining loudly...her husband handed her plunger and went back to the bedroom. I think she drives him crazy on occasion and that day just happened to be one of them otherwise he would have handled it lol. A bit of comedy for the evening never hurt anyone hihi.

oh man ! Cake did not come out well. It is a little crumbly and a bit soggy bottomed. I think it is either too much butter or the lime just kills the structure or I underbaked it a tad. Oh well...flavors are good. I am sure they will eat it.
