There are cheaper houses in ND, maybe 20-30K for a little bit less house, but I really like that area in MN.

Saturday GS report, see man:

Arose at o'dark-thirty and hit road before 8a. First 5 GSs were jokes or a waste -- only take was a dress-shirt for $2.

The haul from the above GS and the remaining 9, see man:

$ 2.00 = dress-shirt

1.00 = jeans *

4.00 = 4 ties, 1 flipflops **

4.00 = suitcase ***

1.00 = suitcase strap, full package of small styrofoam serving-containers

.50 = small steak knife, pot lid (minus pot)

* Waist was right, inseam was wrong; tears on lower leg. Took straight to knockout Vietnamese tailorette to make into short pants. Newly truncated pants are in the dryer waiting to be folded, whee man.

** Huge sale at a hyskool, with two cashier stations: one for regular/junk items, another for boutique-type clothing. I found the world's nicest bath-towel plus two Ralph Lauren hand-towels and carried them in to the "boutique." Supervising lady said, "Can't take these in here; I'll put them in this box and leave it by our cashier station, and you can retrieve it after you pay for your boutique items." I found 4 ties -- Claiborne, Pierre Cardin, Brooks Bros., & Jos. A. Bank. When I went to pay, I noted that the T-Bone box (stacked willy-nilly amongst many other named boxes) had been emptied -- someone had pilfered the towels to buy for themselves. I was steamed and made it known; the cashieress was upset, but not for me -- she turned to a colleague and said, "Oh, we're going to have to watch for theft more closely." It dawned on me much later that I was never charged for the flipflops. Some operation they were running.

*** Older-style roller model -- rectangular, attach strap, pull while hoping that the thing doesn't tip over to the left or right. Very clean, very large, & weighs almost nothing. Mrs. T-B. was pleased to get a suitcase like this for her upcoming trip to Ecu.

Overall, not a bad GS journey, and I shouldn't be as upset about the towel theft as I still am. We have approximately Many bath-towels in this here casa, and in fact I must purge some. The total itinerary was far longer than usual -- something like 65 miles, planned efficiently with use of MapQuest, and from 8a to 1:30p.

Mini-B. enjoyed his two colleagues' birthday parties and was out-tuckered enough to take a long nap, zzz wee man.

No they can do blood work to look for down syndrome, and s few other of the trysomi (SP) the sex is just a bonus. It's newer and most insurance only cover it for a few reasons, like history or being over 35. Obviously there's more to it than that but it is pretty cool. But most women still just go by the ultrasounds to guess the sex. When I had my first 4 I never found out it was fun not knowing what you are having till the day, but being able to shop before they make their appearance is fun also.

Well, it is a little weird, but there are first time parents in my town who are in their 50s. I quickly learned never to assume someone was a grandparent.

Some of my daughter's friends parents are older than her grandparents.

there was very little "action" in the thread since last night. Not that I have much to add but still....

Went grocery shopping for the week - planned it all out and got some cookies factored in for snacks. Did not sleep at all last night - combo of dog left somewhere downstairs and barking at 1:30 am, outside people yelling at 3am and then dog scratching the ####### out of the bedroom door so she can come in. All in all....lovely night. Hubs at least sleeps well and heard nothing. He is making up for my lack of sleep by sleeping at the moment, he was playing video games before that so that got him really exhausted.

I think I will go make some cake. Dad is at work, mom is watching what's his face the vamp dude and that horrible actress in that equally horrible movie that seems to be popular.

Life is great. I keep looking for jobs..of course. It will happen...one day it will.
