Similar, but the spinal block completely numbs you for the c-section. I know other women have pain, but I usually only get it when I'm shoveling or something, not just random pain.

yea that's exactly what happens to Tiff. After she moves some boxes or shovels. She gets back pain for days.

prices in singaland are around $250K-$500K for a 2 bedroom shoebox apartment with a 99 year lease at the moment. even if someday jonas and i decide to relocate, we won't be buying property in singapore.

Yep, he's really into fixing up a house, we both are. I've tiled, hung drywall, plastered, put down floors, etc. before and he's had some basic electrical and plumbing training and was in a carpentry program when he was younger, so I think we are set. There are cheaper houses in ND, maybe 20-30K for a little bit less house, but I really like that area in MN. I have an upper price in mind for a perfect house and then we work from there down on how much renovations can cost.

The problem here where we live in CT is a house with structural and serious problems costs about 220k, which is doable, but the repairs are going to cost at least 80-100k, which is not.

If I'm correct. there are housing bubbles in a lot of countries. Singapore is one of them right now.

Depends on the issue and the location, but the repairs in most of these houses were beyond our scope of competency - huge foundation issues, septic system installs, roof needing to raised several feet for more bedroom clearance, etc. I'm fine with everything short of those type of issues. Your house doesn't have those type of issues and isn't on a RR track and next to the town maintenance garage, then the starting price is easily 350k.

Well, I'm preparing the final accounting on the estate, so house buying should be coming shortly.
