did the interview. I don't think it went too well. It was not bad but certainly was not good enough.

I bet you did good. I'll explain later.

But basically, whenever you think you did bad in an interview, you did good.

And when you think you did great, you did very bad.

Sasquatch, did you use a tax program?

Yep. Seemed simple enough at the time, but now I'm wondering what the f#&$ it messed up...

No, neither did. I scoured our return looking for a possible mistake and couldn't find any glaring error. It kind of looks like I'll just have to call to find out ####### the problem is... grrr.

No, and no. I do live with my parents, but I didn't live with either one for more than 6 months, and they definitely didn't provide for half my support. We pay all our own bills, food, gas, etc - the only thing they give us is a place to put our bed to sleep, basically.

Then no one can be claiming you as a dependent. I'd certainly fight their determination, something is wrong or a parent is lying and did claim you.

I learned how to wok a dog in asia. But why do I need to wok on my cooking,I have a wife to do that?

I have only one aluminum pan in my home, and thats for cooking dried fish on the grill, something which gets pretty grimy and I may just want to throw away every few years.

you call yourself an engineer? Use a rotary wire brush to restore aluminum pan!

Yep. Seemed simple enough at the time, but now I'm wondering what the f#&$ it messed up...

did you have to pay? if yes, the software company will fix it for free.

If parents claimed her. The onus is on parents, not Sasquatch. Something isn't done right.

I checked both their returns to make sure they didn't. :P I guess I'll have to call in. If it turns out that it's something wrong on my return, do you know how difficult it is to file an amended? I would imagine you just fill out the 1040x, send it in and voila, but with my luck...

I do use a rotary wire brush for just such things. But when why spend 30 minutes taking a wire brush to it, when I can replace it for $20? Whaddaya think my time is worth?

I always think that as well, but I'm sure you did wonderfully.

You're probably right there. I never claimed my kid I pay support on, even it the court documents say I can, because I no want the headaches with the IRS.

Now you're laughing at my tears. May a thousand fooks settle in your basement!
