Spent most of the day drinking huge amounts of hot tea, watching netflix and sleeping while under a pile of blankets. Hopefully I'll feel better for work tomorrow. :(

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

It's snowing again....man I sure miss warm weather...

We had the air conditioning on today during my (warning: Thread Laundress report imminent) 6 laundry loads, and it was probably 70 F. or close to it outside by late afternoon, but the temperatures head south again for the next three lousy days, then back up.

Amidst the laundry, I blew out to the supermarket ("Express Lane" is an oxymoron), gassed the jalopy, picked up my Dell laser printer at Staples (bought last month for $Many [$127] drive-out price), and got Many (9) gut-bombs at Arby's with use of coupon, all in 75 minutes. Too bad that Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. were imminently due back from one of his little colleague's birthday parties, or I also might have invited the rubias (imaginary harem of Many [6] blondes) to come over.

We're going broke, buying presents for all of Mini-B.'s little contemporaries, $igh man.

Got a much-needed siesta for nearly two hours, zzz man.

I have it on authority, good or otherwise, that some people view these threads as "sacred," sacre bleu man. Should we make it clear that anyone who adheres to the ground rules is welcome, huh man?

I think it is just hard for people to jump in in the middle, yah know? They feel a little lost or like they've just barged in on a conversation, which they shouldn't because we need a Mean Lady replacement. yes.gif
