09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

Mrs. T-B. was out of it when I got home -- had re-warshed the spotless queen mattress-pad that I'd already dutifully warshed (being an official Thread Laundress and all); served me the crappiest dinner ever; couldn't understand why I was peeved that she'd hung the bag with all the new light-bulbs in it over my car in the garage, exactly where I couldn't get to them; had one of Mini-B.'s friends over today and left the baby-monitor on, which hosed my attempted nap. Afraid I yelled at her.

Later, heard her coughing fruitily as she put Mini-B. to bed; she accepted my Good Gringo Husband offer of a cold-pill and also asked for something for stomach. I recommended and brought the bottle of Melox Noche (nighttime Maalox), which she swigged heartily. I don't hear her snoring, but she probably has begun or will soon.

Despite having taken all precautions on Sunday vis-a-vis lawnmowing and laundering, I'm coughing myself, hack man.

Mini-B.'s 3-year-checkup bloodwork results came back completely normal, whee wee man.

'Twas 80 F. outside today, with tolerable humidity; Chamber of Commerce weather, whee man. Is supposed to be thus until Friday through the weekend, when highs plunge to around 60 with lows in the 40s. I'm so sick of winter, ick man.

Our kid had friends over and they were all laughing/cackling like young female folk do. Husband could not go to bed, since our bedroom was near the cackling. He ended up dozing off on the recliner with his laptop on his legs. The girls left a little bit ago and I have been trying to get him to go to bed, It took 3 attempts. He was really out of it. At least he found a way to sleep a bit during the happy friends-together noises, poor thing.

That is warm, very warm.

What do they do bloodwork for? My kid has only had it done in the hospital to see if she had diabetes...

You know, I really want to smack people who parade around saying "Abolish the K1"... Like that'll change anything.

Well it does fix that problem of people being silly and not saving enough to do the AOS. Also, it solves this little problem of people complaining that they can't work/travel/drive (some of them) for that time period.

IMO, and I've said it many times before, the CR1 protects the immigrant much more.

I'm looking at the visa fraud aspect more than the other sides of it all, to be honest. Scammers or fraudsters will find other ways of getting over, even if you abolish the K1. They'll just try and abuse the CR-1 instead.

Either way, my issue is with the people militantly preaching it should go. Though frankly I've given up caring anymore. Sod it all.

Today no pain. yesterday I carried her, still. but less pain.

Today no pain . I left at 6:00 AM this morning, got to uni and did a fat boy workout prior to starting my day on campus. I think she likes the piggyback rides, for some reason wink.png

My wife likes the occasional piggyback ride. She's also got this habit of hopping on my shoulders when I'm sitting on the steps putting my shoes on. But she gets really frightened when I stand up with her still there.

Glad to hear her foots feeling better now. But thats no reason to not give her the occasional piggyback ride.

Tiff already is domiciled, you fence post pounding hick....

She has a fever. No can talk. My daughter refused to go to Lego movie with the Gumps.

She said "no, thank you"
