i know. I told him to get a counselor/psychologist for his own sake but it would have to be mom calling and taking him there. He won't move on his own.

Yah know I have periods of pretty bad social anxiety, which actually has been managed since I've been back in America, but it does many times when it is bad prevent me from making phone calls. However, I don't think that is necessarily your husband's problem as the majority of people with SA are actually extroverts (which is why it is so crippling). Also, most people with SA have developed coping mechanisms in which we just send emails or find someone else to call. Honestly, I don't think counseling is going to help. What he really needs is like an ### kicking life coach.
