Hi Everyone,

My husband is a Green card holder and he’s planning to apply citizenship and he’s completing 5 Years for April 5 2014, also for the citizenship it takes 5 months to get process. Also my husband already apply F2A visa for me and my priority date is 29/10/2013 and my documents are already at NVC right now. My Question is

goofy.gif If he apply for citizenship on April 05, 2014 and While the citizenship documents get process (during the 5 months)

1. do I have chance to get my case up at NVC?

2. And how can I do that?

3. Or do I have to wait until he get the citizenship?

If anyone knows about the proceed please help us.

Thank you

You cannot upgrade your petition until he is a citizen, ie until after he took the oath and can send his naturalisation cert as proof.
