Saying Hello to everyone,

This is my first post on this forum and I had done a lot of re-search on the net before posting this query on this forum.

My concern is this that, after applying in F4 immigration visa category is it possible for a derivative beneficiary to apply and get visa in any other immigration visa category, prior to the issuance of visa in F4 category??

Because F4 visas takes a logn time approx 10 years, so in between any other type of visa can be availed or not?

That is all I want to know, can anyone here having knowledge about it answer my question.

Someone else can answer more positively, but I would think not, since they're showing intent to immigrate.

A derivative beneficiary has no petition. The petition is for the principal beneficiary.

As long as there are qualified petitioners, there is no problem filing multiple petitions for a person.

Perfectly okay for another petitioner to file for the derivative beneficiary.

As replied by aaron2020 :

Can any one post me a link from USCIS official pages about this that a derivative beneficiary can apply and get an immigrant visa while his case as F4 derivative beneficiary still in process??
