You can call nvc and ask if they can unlock it for you so you can edit, if they cant do it, then you have to wait til ur interview and inform the people there that you made a mistake so they can correct it for you.

About one week after I submitted my I 129f form I realized I make a mistake on the form. I called nvc to to get it corrected in hopes of preempting an RFE. They were able to fix it for me. About three or four weeks later I received a letter in the mail informing me that the changes to my application were made and accepted. I recommend that you call them since your form was recently submitted. They should be able to unlock your form online or a tier two officer should be able to make those corrections for you.

The NVC doesnt send rfes. They send checklists. This isnt cause for a checklist but as the other poster stated, call them and ask to correct your ds-260 or wait and inform the CO at the interview. I suggest trying to correct it sooner vs later.

Thank you tiff@babs I asked my husband to call for me to the nvc, he called up the nvc and the operator of nvc told him its just minor error I can correct it during the interview. thanks again tiff& babs.

Hi All,

Sorry to jump in on this topic one but does this mean that once the DS-260 has been completed and submitted online it can't be edited or viewed unless you contact the NVC with a mistake?

I know that when the form is incomplete it can be returned to for completion/reviewing.
