Yesterday we received emails saying decision was made and card sent to production. Should arrive by January 28th!! Excited we finally got some movement and didnt have to do the interview. If you are still waiting, know you are probably right around the corner too. So glad we can get this part done and have a couple year break before ROC. Happy new year everyone!

On December 24, 2014 we received emails/texts saying the permanent resident card was ordered for production. On January 2, 2015 we received an email stating it was mailed out by USPS. We have just received the welcome letter in the mail.

We filed the AOS with a receipt date of February 22, 2014. We received a waiver letter on June 5, 2014.

Hopefully the card will arrive in a day or two.

  • 3 weeks later...

During a good majority of the AOS filing process I was too stressed to even come to check in on VJ. I got my Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Notice in early June. Kept myself busy, and wasn't going to bother calling them unless I hadn't heard anything by March, since I knew there was a huge backlog. I was delightfully surprised when I checked my case status yesterday on Uscis.gov to find out my AOS application was approved on Jan 17, and today it says my card has been ordered for production. Yay :)

01/24/2015: Green Card / 2 Year Permanent Resident Card received.

12/05/2016: Filed I-751 Removal of Conditions.

12/24/2016: NOA1 received.

01/09/2017: Biometrics Appointment.

11/10/2017: I-751 approval letter received (No Interview Required)!!

11/30/2017: 10yr Green Card produced & mailed.

Thank you, Brent and Vika, I appreciate the moral support!

I have submitted a service request on 12/1 as well as 1/12, and received for both the very same answer.

I will keep patiently waiting until I receive the notice and the GC, it can't be much longer now (I hope!!!).

And congratulations, ahlibs!!!
