Hi fellow Feb files,

Its been a long time since i was active on this forum. Work is crazy and hardly get any time but i had to come here today due to all the help I got from this forum.

My Green Card has been approved.

I finally had my interview today (I had filed on Feb 14, 2014). The IO was very funny and chatty and chatted the whole time with my wife. Asked us questions about our travel and our baby( she is due on Jan 2015). Asked if i had any more documents to add to file and that was it. It was max 15 minutes. I am so happy and i now i can relax forever and don't have to go through any more applications for the next 10 years...I wish the other feb filers who still havent had their interview yet best of luck. Hope you all get your cards soon!!!

Congrats datta.aj! :)

I went to the SSA office today to remove the restriction on my card and it was the easiest thing. She said most people forget but it's imortant, and I need to go back once I become a citizen. I also went to the DMV to remove the restriction since I got my drivers license when I only had my EAD and hadn't gotten my social security card yet. It's now renewed and good for 7 years.

Yup, I'm here, still waiting! Waiver latter received at the beginning of June.

Did you speak with anyone? What else did they say, mv2011?

Right here...

It's frustrating, but things are moving for some, so I guess it's a matter of remaining calm and patient... UGH! (not so calm and patient anymore!)

I did not speak to any one , i called and check my case every day and is still in the same location (lee summit MO)

I'm also in the same boat as you. I received the waiver letter in June which said that it could be up to another 6 months (which is December - getting pretty close!).

Has been a while since I checked in as well. We also got a letter saying 6 months and possibly no interview needed. We are still sitting at NBC (case number starts with MSC) It hasn't been touched since February. We are in the New Orleans district and when we called the rep 45 days ago she said we are out of normal processing time frame. She put in a service ticket or something but haven't heard back. Called again this morning and it seems that still has had no movement. Anyone get this letter and seen their case actually move along to either an interview, approval and or card production? Thanks for any insight.

Hey Brent and Vika. I'm in New Orleans too and I'm in the same situation as you are. Got my receipt at March 5 and the interview waiver letter on June5. Nothing happen yet, I called two times to the USCIS and they said that the case is out of regular processing times so they give neons number but since last week that was my last called I haven't receive any letter.

Let me know if something happen.
