Nope! Nothing! I really thought we'd have a date by now!

Hey Trasting, How is it going? By the looks of it you still haven't got an interview date. Same situation here. I haven't gotten one either and me and you have the same timeline!! We have been waiting since March 18th for an interview. I got busy after the EAD, applying for jobs and all and this interview thing totally got out of my mind.

Hopefully we both get an interview date soon. The Denver office looks to be a month ahead of the Dallas office in regards to processing I-485 but I am not hoping anything soon. What is the number that you guys called to find out more details?

Nope, not yet, she said 2 weeks and truthfully, I cant remember when I called. I'm not as worried anymore, this month is raise month at my company, so I'm trying to get brownie points off my boss to get a 5% raise :goofy:

But the wait continues, :clock: . I was hoping that by now you would get a date... In no real rush though, I hope my interview is at the end of July... my spouses' birthday, so I can take her to the best restaurant Dallas has to offer.

Been to the restaurant once, it's called Texas de Brazil... LOVED IT, but it is expensive too!

I just recieved a letter yesterday about a possible interview waiver. The letter also told us that the expected timeframe till getting my GC would be approx 6 months from now because they were running behind with processing the AOS applications. Did anyone in here recieve the same letter? I really hope it'll be less than 6 months, since that will be almost a year added together with the time we've already waited :(

This is an update of my son's time line (under18) for AOS. (Houston)

Missouri Office:

2/15/2014: Sent AOS

3/10/2014: Rec Notification for Biometrics-Attempted walk in (Houston-declined)

3/24/2014: Biometric appointment

5//7/2014: received EAD

5/9/2014: Received appointment letter(appointment 6/9/2014)

6/9/2014: Appointment (Houston)( Letter given to us saying that they would advise in 30 days.)

Great so we wait again...... Agent said my son can travel on his EAD/Parole card. even after I said that the letter it came with said it does not guarantee re-entry (especially if he's been out of Status)

I see timelines with approvals at the meetings and others were approved shortly after, then there's those that have waited a long time for the approval after the meeting. I guess it's up in the air and I'll just have to wait.

......zzzz.............zzzz..............zzz................zzz..............zzz...............!

Oh really? Congratulations! I see my interview was lead visa versa. Thing that should be done at the end were done at begging. First explaining about the green card. Then "no" questions, then he asked for evidence and at the end he asked us questions xD

Yeah, i had luck. Very pleasant interview.

And.... Today I got my green card! It took just one day to arrive! Thank you, thank you :)

Everyone can see my timeline. Aos took just 3 months for me.

My advice: always follow uscis instructions. Don't look for immigration sites. They mess up and then the proces is longer. For example once I have seen site where they let you put documents in colorful sheets. In a result it looked like a rainbow. It doesn't help and imigration collect document on their way anyway :)

i just received the potential interview waiver letter in the mail two days ago. Just a few questions... I filed at the end of February. We have received the EAD/AP combo card in late May. DOes this mean that there should be no RFE requests at this point for the Green Card? Our field office is Greer, SC. How long should I expect for this process to take place from this point. Also, has anyone had any experience with them still requiring an interview?

Thanks again
