My AOS Timeline:

Feb 18: AOS package (EAD & AP)

Feb 25: NOA1

Mar 21: Biometrics

**Received an RFE somewhere in here**

Apr 21: RFE docs received (touched)

... and nothing. My EAD/AP case #s have yet to be touched. So many timelines around me have received their EADs/APs in hand or at least the approval. Heck - I see some people have their GC?!

Just frustrated. Would like to get on with working and feeling more useful around here :pop:

Yea, I didn't think so. Been pretty lax in following AOS, you know... been enjoying the married life. But after a friend of mind (also a K1 to AOSer) received her EAD weeks ago I started wondering.

Our case is MSC... but our local office? Durham, NC (at least... that's where I went for my biometrics).

Am I warm? Haha.

I definitely will... I can assume I'm going to get the "You're not out of normal processing time", please call back in 2 weeks.

Grrr. So frustrating. Nothing in this process for us has been as most experience it. We waited 6.5 months for NOA1 to NOA2 for K1 and I see now Canadians are averaging 30-something DAYS?!

Gah. No option, right?! Gotta call. I wonder if it would be any extra help to file an Infopass?! We seriously have such a straightforward case. I just don't get it.

Hi. We filed feb 7th and received EAD/AP about 3 weeks ago (yay) however our I485 is still at acceptance stage. It says it's been sent to the national benefits center. Does this mean interview waiver? Is anyone else at NBC?

I apologize if this has been asked but I'm on my phone and it won't let me go back through the whole thread!

Im at NBC too...but Im filing from B2...yes Ive heard that for K1s you might potentially get an interview waiver especially if you're at NBC...im still waiting for my interview, but Im not K1...hope this helps!

we have the same ead/ap timeline (for approval and shipment)..approved on the 7th, shipped on the 12th but I received it the next day, on the 13th...wait until Monday or Tuesday and see if you receive it by then, if not call customer service to give you a usps tracking number..good luck!

Been reading this forum since I applied but scared to get it jinxed so I'm not posting anything. Just a little superstitious. But now sharing you our story.



Finally had our interview this morning at around 9AM but our scheduled time was 8:15AM. Quite a lot of applicants so we had to wait.


We arrived at around 7:40AM but had to wait for our lawyer. A friendly lady officer called us, had to swear then asked us a few questions like


how my husband and I met, how many were at our wedding, all the yes or no questions on the application, our information like full name, date of birth,


and if those were our signatures. Asked us if we have other evidences for bonafide marriage, so we gave her copies of our bank statements,


engagement ring receipts, show/ travel tickets, letters and pictures. Then she gave us a copy of the USCIS business card and explained to us about the green card,


what phone # to call etc. That's when the time I was wondering if we were approved. Then she told us that she was approving our case, gave us the interview results


which showed "Congratulations! Your I-130/ I-485 applications has been recommended for approval. Within the next few weeks upon approval, the Service will be sending you an approval notice followed by your legal permanent residence card." So and so forth. She aslo explained that she's giving me a 10 year GC since we were


married for almost 3 years already.



Everything was so precious today. Waited for 4 years for this. We feel blessed (L)

02/03/2014 - Package received by USCIS


02/10/2014 - Received Notice of Action in the mail


02/12/2014 - Biometrics appointment received for 03/05/2014


03/05/2014 - Had my biometrics


03/13/2014 - Received Notice of Action for my 2nd biometrics for 04/03/2014. FBI was unable to process my fingerprint card


03/25/2014 - Successful walk-in biometrics at USCIS office Las Vegas, NV


04/09/2014 - Interview notice received for 05/15/2014 at 8:15AM in Las Vegas, NV


04/14/2014 - Approval notice for Employment Authorization


04/16/2014 - EAD received in the mail

I just wanted to share with you that my Green Card finally arrived yesterday. I never got an EAD/AP card but won't need it now anyways.
