I sent off the AOS package with I-765 and I-131. It was received on February 26, 2014 by the USCIS. Yesterday I received a RFE requesting a physical address as opposed to a PO Box that was listed on the application. Is this common?

I have already replied to their request and they should receive it on Monday May 5, 2014. Does anyone know how long it should take from this point to get approved.

Thanks

Yes, it's normal. Our lawyer had told us they will not accept a PO Box since you don't live *in* it. They need a physical address.

Sorry Trasting, It's just unlucky you filed in Dallas.

My news just got a little frustrating. My Spouse is TDY'ing (some military assignment) for the whole month of June. So if I were to get an interview date today (which will then be in June), I would have to call them to reschedule it due to the assignment. So, come what may, I will only be able to interview in July at the earliest.

Oh well.....

If you have a husband on military deployment/assignment, all you need is a copy of his orders & you are allowed to do the interview alone. It's actually one of the only reasons a spouse is allowed to do an AOS alone. Definitely look into it as I don't know all the details on it :)

Oh okay. I didnt know that. But wont it be detrimental to me to go to an interview alone?

No. As long as you have a copy of his orders. Call and ask for more info about it :)
