How long did it take for you, guys, to get the date for the interview from the moment you got the notification of testing&interview? this is my 6th day and nada yet :( I'm getting impatient...

It does depend highly upon where your field office is located and how busy they are. For me, my status changed to 'Testing & Interview' on the 3rd Apr and I received an interview date 5 days later. I hope you hear back with a date soon!

Wow, almost a month ago..do you plan to call them and see why it's taking so long once the month is up?

I do plan to call them one the month is up, although I don't know if it will help much. From what i saw from the office processing times, Denver is quite slow and way behind other offices like Boston and San Francisco. I am just hoping to receive the EAD within April so I can start working. I have been home for so long that its driving me nuts now. :P

I am super worried :( my I-485 is still on acceptance and the EAD and AP are still in received. I am getting super impatient as i see most of you got all the updates already :(

Hey jojha,

Don't worry friend. We almost have the same timelines. My NOA1's are date Feb 20th and I have seen some FEB filers whose NOA1's are dated around Feb 12 and 13 have got their EAD's accepted. So hopefully we will hear something by the end of next week. Fingers crossed and Best of luck. :)

I got notice today that my EAD card was in production! Looks like speaking to my congressman and expediting worked thank you for the advice!!! How long does it take to get it usually after it is in this stage?

Congratulations and hope you get your EAD card soon!!

Hi everyone. We submitted our paperwork On Feb 3 they receieved it on Feb 7. We had our biometrics appointment on March 14th. And have not heard anything else since then. For Permanent residence is still in acceptance and for the EAD is still in Initial Review. Also, in his paperwork I had changed my last name to my husbands last name, but recently I had to change it back to my maiden name with social security because I had Scholarship problems because they could not find my last name as it used to be. Could this have affected anything? Also, should I be worried we have not heard anything yet? He arrived to the US with a K1 VISA. I see some other February filers are getting approved, we filed early February and nothing yet, should I call or contact my congressman, I mean it is still within the 3 month wait period.

Hey guys...

How are your VisaJourneys progressing so far?

My husband's EAD/AP were approved this week. It was odd that we didn't get any text messages; I found out by checking the USCIS case update website, like I do every morning.... :bonk:

and now we're looking forward for any sort of update on the I-485 AOS.

I was wondering... Anyone from Los Angeles waiting to hear back about interview dates? I read somewhere that when and if cases are transferred to CSC, the interview is waved...???

Congrats on the EAD/AP! Don't think AOS cases are transferred to CSC..they're fwd'd straight to your local field office! Mine is San Diego, so fairly close to LA. I have an interview on the 13th May!
