You were right about the Boston Office! I got my interview date this morning (4 days after I got switched to testing and interview). I'm scheduled for May 20th, 6 days after you! Make sure to let me know how yours went and what they asked.

Got message from uscis that they already mailed my ead card. Can't wait to have it.

I just got a message from them as well today saying the same, but mine is not going to be of any use :cry:

November 27th Received my naturalization certificate back

How did you get notice about interview date? By mail?

You first get a text & email with the date, then you get a letter through with time & place.

How did you get notice about interview date? By mail?

I got a text and e-mail. My text didn't say the date, but the e-mail did. And as blk said, I am expecting a letter than will say the actual time. I'm assuming you signed up on the USCIS website for texts and e-mails? Otherwise, you won't know until you get the actual letter which I haven't gotten yet.

It also depends on the city you are in. Boston is apparently really quick about scheduling interview dates, so the wait time to be scheduled is typically about a week as I have seen from other timelines in Boston.

Hello everyone, I've finally decided to share my timeline even though I've been visiting this website for the longest and I think it is a very helpful one.

Application sent via USPS on February 7th

Application rcvd at Chicago lockbox on February 10th according to return receipt, but not processed until the 14th

Check cashed on February 18th

NOA by mail received on February 24th

Biometric appt rcvd on February 27th for March 17th.

Early walk in for biometrics on the 28th of February.

RFE received on March 10th (recent tax info and birth cert. translation)

RFE sent on March 17th and received on March 25th.

Case changed to testing and interview on the 2nd of April.

Application sent via USPS on February 7th

Yes, i am registered but when my status changed I didn't get email so I guess it doesn't work. Even though I marek that I want to get email. But if I get mail it will be fine :)

It can take long. All depends on the field office your case is assigned to. Mine changed to testing and interview on the 19th March and still no letter. :(

Some members have got their letters within a week of changing to testing and interview. Hopefully we get ours soon.

Based on your timeline your EAD should be approved by April 28th. If I am not wrong, a couple of FEB filers have already had their EAD accepted. So I think it shouldn't be long before we get ours accepted.

Regarding expediting your EAD, I have heard about people calling their local Congressman/Congresswoman office with job offers and getting their EAD expedited. I do not know for sure if you can do that as well. Maybe some other VJ members will throw some light on that one.

Thank you very much for the feedback. My interview is scheduled for 5/15 - but I am hoping the EAD comes in before April 28th. I faxed over documents to my congressmen and i called USCIS for an expedite request; considering that i feel that losing my job would be deemed a financial hardship!

I am super worried :( my I-485 is still on acceptance and the EAD and AP are still in received. I am getting super impatient as i see most of you got all the updates already :(

I-129F Timeline:

Jan/23 2013 : I-129F received at USCIS, Lewisville, TX
Jan/25 2013 : NOA1 received - California Service Center
Jan/30 2013 : A# changed
Feb/1 : NOA1 hard copy received

May/2 : Touched

May/22: NOA2 text

May/25: NOA2 hard copy received

Jun/10: Case arrived at the NVC (took 13 business days)

Jun/13: Case is out to Lima Embassy!

June/21: Lima Embassy received it! changed from "in transit" to ready!

August/5 : Interview approved!

October/19: Got married

AOS Timeline:

Feb/14 2014: AOS packet sent out to Chicago Lockbox

Feb/17 2014: USPS webpage updated as packet received in Chicago

Feb/18 2014: Travel and work permit received

Feb/21 2014: I-485 doc received
