How long was it from the time your case status changed to testing and interview to receiving the letter letting you know about the date and time of interview...

Hi My I-485 went to testing & interview on the 11th March then I had a text & email on Monday morning the 17th March about my interview date, then I received the letter on Tues 18th March, but on the letter the notice date in the top right corner is the 13th march.

My status of I485 changed to RFE this morning. Got so panic....

Day1: 2014/02/19: AOS package sent

Day6: 2014/02/24: USCIS got my package

Day16: 2014/03/06: hard copy of NOA1 for I130,485 and 765 arrived. Dated 26 Feb tho.

Day18: 2014/03/08: hard copy biometric appointment letter arrived. Appoinment on the 24th March.

I just checked my aos status its now testing & interview, had my biometric last Mar 11. When it's on testing & interrview does it mean no more RFE? I'm just not sure about the civil surgeon part coz i did not attached one. Just the vaccination form.

Feb. 2013 - First conversation ( we met through a friend )
Mar 26, 2013 - First meeting in person, Manila
April 06, 2013 - He went back to US
April 15, 2013 - I-129F sent to USCIS
April 17, 2013 - I-129F delivered
April 19, 2013 - NOA1
April 23, 2013 - Alien Registration Number was changed
June 17, 2013 - Second Visit
July 31,2013 - RFE
August 06, 2013 - Return to US
August 08, 2013 - RFE reply sent. ( next day delivery service)
August 09, 2013 - RFE response received
August 13, 2013- APPROVED!
12nn - Received an email from Representative Staff that our petition is approved already. ( w/ email from USCIS officer )
8pm - Received email confirmation about the approval & Online Status Updated.
August 14,2013- got my BC & Cenomar ( waited 5mins for BC & almost 1 1/2hr for Cenomar)
August 15, 2013 - got my NBI ( total processing time from step 1 to releasing 1 1/2hrs)
August 23,2013 - CFO Attended, Got GCC. Sticker to follow.
Sep 18, 2013 - Got MNL Case # via Phone & Paid Visa Fee @ BPI

Hi you only need your passport to travel with in the US, the EAD card is for working in the US until you have got a green card. You have put that you are filing for a IR1/CR1 because if you are filing for a Green Card within the US you are doing an AOS as the other one is for someone applying for a spouse who is not in the US.

@blk thank you. And yes l! Im doing an AOS, not IR1/CR, I filed sseparately and didnt (couldnt) find that as an option.

If I travel with the passport (along with and EAD) do you thinl it would get me I trouble with TSA? Ive been out of status for a while now, and dont want to do anything to mess up the AOS

As far as I can tell as long as you have your passport, marriage certificate & a copy of your NOA1 you should be fine, as for the EAD card you might not get it till after you AOS interview & have got your G/C in hand & if that happens the EAD card will be of no use at all.

I have been tracking filers from other months pretty closely everyday and by the looks if it, the applications that were received by the USCIS between the 16th Jan to 23rd Jan are getting acceptances this week. So, taking into consideration that there are nor RFE's involved and USCIS is satifsfied, people who applied in the first week of Feb should start getting EAD acceptances starting 2nd week of April. So after 7th April we should be seeing some acceptances hopefully. Fingers crossed. Everyone keep posting about any changes in your online case status and all.
