Yeah we are on almost 2 weeks so far, our case was transferred to the CSC like yours. How often do you call per day? I guess we're in a wait then, haha. Already been through 8 months at USCIS, I hope this will be faster.

I called NVC once and USCIS once.

When I called NVC the rep seemed a bit defensive and kept asking questions. I assume because i don't have a case #. He told me that I should be calling USCIS instead. Also advised me to wait 60 days after NOA2.

At USCIS i talked with a tier 2 officer. She said she couldn't tell if my case had been shipped or not and to call NVC. When i told her i already did, she advised to call USCIS back when i hit the 30 day mark. At that time she said that if they still didn't send it, i can submit a request.

Today i called NVC and got a busy signal. I'm guessing they're super busy because yesterday was a holiday and they were closed.

Yep, still waiting ....

Hi guys every one got the I130 approvals ?

Still im waiting for my one :protest:

we're here with you. prayin', wishin' and hopin' right along side.

we've been staying away.....such doom and gloom, its so disappointing and sad......., been doing our own thing, making our own peace and finding tranquility in resolve since it will be next summer before we're living together like a real married couple. learning how not to be angry or bitter or judgmental.

hoping for a miracle, really.

what are the chances of getting expedite at nvc??? are the reasons the same as they are at the uscis stage???

Hey,

Yes, I was under additional background check and it felt like it was forever. My husband and I have never been in trouble with the law (not ever a speed ticket)! Plus, my husband had a school visa approved back in 2011 to attend a MBA program and he never overstayed. I think that some people are just randomly selected.

I contacted my senator last week (October 6th - but never received a response) and submitted a request for ombudsman (October 13th - only received the standard response that they received my request). I don't know if either of these groups helped me but I would recommend it ... just in case. :halloween:

As I knw its same as the USCIS unless they do a mistake in USCIS stage then we can apply for expedite.
