It was a passport photo of my wife, but it being more than a month now not 10/20 that's why im worried, also filed e-request, no reply for that either.

Don123 -

I noticed that you're at NSC. I think the processing times there are a bit longer than CSC. Submitting the service request was a good move. I think you'll hear from them soon.

~~~Sending good vibes and prayers your way bro.~~~
Thanks to God, I received an email and text on 9/22 saying ours was approved on 9/19. I'm still waiting for the hard copy and for the file to be sent to NVC.
Hang in there, God Willing you'll get your approval soon, and more importantly we'll be with our loved ones sooner.
Anyone know how to handle an expedite request (promise) that has not been met ?
When I had one submited the response was to wait 20 to 30 days for a decision.
Those days have come and gone now and still NO DECISION.
What should I do ?
I called USCIS and spoke a tier2 who also couldn't tell me much but to wait and that an immigration officer has not been assigned my file yet for a decision.
What should I do ? Anyone has been in this situation before ?
My PD was Feb 10
zanzibar,
I can't help you but recommend you make a new "post new topic" in the ir1/cr1 thread. you might get more help ...and try to use a catchy topic line...it will grab more attention that way. good luck. we will get through this process :)
Hey,
I am a Feb. filer (2.24.2014) and I am still waiting for our NOA2. I know there is not many of us left but it's nice to hear from you. I submitted an E-Request and just received an message saying that our background checks have not been completed and that we have to keep waiting!! Over the past couple of months its become harder and harder to just wait as my life is flying by. :clock:
Its nice to know that there are still some of us out there.... I look forward to your continued posting/updates and positive messages.
WoW! You have a rough idea of how long... How do you know that you probably will not hear anything until Nov 15th? They will not tell us anything.
In their reply they said to wait another 120 days from this notice before contacting again!! So, it's not even guaranteed it'll be mid November :(
Yup ! I also got a very similar email from NVC (See below), 1 month after the case was shipped from nebraska to NVC.
seems like they are doing this to expedite the process...
Best of luck to all those still waiting at USCIS and also those who are continuing the wait at NVC!
the status now changed to: On October 2, 2014, the post office returned your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN as undeliverable. If you do not contact us at 1-800-375-5283 within 180 days from October 2, 2014, this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application with fee.
what does this mean??? status doesn't say application is approved, so I doubt that it'll be the NOA2
