Congratulations RyanDS! We haven't received any emails from the USCIS that our petition got approved but based on their site our status is:

On February 25, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

I really hope this is an approval as well. I'm really worried because we don't have email or snail mail confirming our NOA2. sad.png

I think it means yours has gone through and it has been approved. I wouldn't worry about getting NOA1 or NOA2. As long as you keep in touch with them it will be fine. My wife has been in touch with the USCIS office here in South Africa and they have pushed this through very quickly. Apparently they process everything in South Africa so hoping to have the next phase done in the next month or so.

Good Luck!

Since you are in the Philippines, you might get fast tracked. Some people in the forum getting approvals in a couple months, a few even faster. The rest of us will be waiting ~8 months for USCIS.

Sorry for interrupting but really? How can you say so? Or why is that?

We sent in our application to the Chicago lockbox with UPS 1-Day delivery on the 24th. It got there the 25th, signed by J CHYBA. We received our e-verification today (Feb 28), and our check was cashed right away.

So I guess we're waiting for the NOA 1 hard copy, and then the loooooong wait. Our packet was sent to Vermont. Here's hoping for the best!

We both have in the same situation.. Its been 10 days since we sent out form l-130. As of now No email notification verifying they review our petition . We havent receive our first NOA from the USCIS yet.

Cheer up maybe this month of march is our month. I read some post some filers receive thier NOA1 30 days later.

just be patient and ask the guidance of our Lord

God answers in 3 ways

He says Yes and gives you what you want,

He says No and gives you something better,

He says wait and gives you the best.
