You have to call them to confirm it.

I'll call them and share their response on this thread when 1 month passes since USCIS's approval :clock:

Note: Although nobody knows the impact, my attorney doesn't recommend call NVC so often(everyday, for instance).

I am still waiting on NOA2. PD Feb 6. Apparently Texas service center had mailed a rfe on July 14th, but the mail courier lost it. I have to wait another 30 days for another copy.

I feel so sorry to hear that... :cry2:

I dislike this process, in which problems suddenly may come up one after another and delay a whole process by several months, easily but unreasonably...

I hope your REFs or further background checks are resolved soon.. :(

How do you realize they receive the case? Do I have to call them, or do they email and text as well?

I had to call them, I spent a long time waiting also about 45mins and when they finally answered I gave them my receipt number and they confirmed that.

Thanks for sharing. :wow:

At least we can prepare for the increase...but this really sucks! If they only used the increase to hire more people, then it could be worth it right? Lol.....wishful thinking!

Anyway, thanks again...better start saving some more! <_<

this is just outrageous.

they are increasing the fee, yet take longer now.

the cheek of them!! if they are demanding higher fee, at least do things faster (case complete) or within the previous time-frame (1-2 months).. sighhhh...

good luck to all of us at NVC and USCIS ( who will have to face this at NVC)!

It's crazy that with this new increase our wait time are not likely to be any faster. Yes we better get saving some more :(

Anyone else? There can't be just the 3 of us???

Anyone else from TSC?

I have been out of the loop the last several days. We are on a road trip from North Dakota to California. Just got here last night. I see my good friend and fellow Canuck is still stuck here, I am following you guys still. Just stopped in to offer my prayers and support to all of you stuck in here. **Big Hugs** (L)

I was over at the NVC thread and noticed they're speaking about fee increases. As of September 12th the AOS and IV fees will increase.

AOS now $88 will be $120

IV now $230 will be $325

What a joke after they take so long to do their jobs. Grrrrr!!!!!!!

...and it just keeps getting better and better. What a joke indeed!!

I am still here as well in the processing of work on my RFE - my wife received an expedite deportation when she was young for 5 years on her ban, and I know I did not put anything in the I-130 about that. So working on trying to figure out what theyre asking for.

My other RFE is working on my wife's divorce from a decade ago, it was annulled, and it seems the US government does not like that. So I have to figure out how to deal with that.

The first one, I have no clue how to answer. I was thinking written testimonys from her work/family translated/notarized telling the US government where she has been during her ban. The last one my wife says she will fix easily with going to the notary again which will get the judge signed off on it.

Still waiting as well. Received a RFE at sixth month mark and they received my further evidence the 28th of August.

I'm so discouraged. I hope it doesntvtake the 60 days they suggest they have to process the new evidence.

Hey Everyone - I've been pretty quiet lately. Just putting together my RFE response with the help of an expert. I sent the packet last week. The month that I spent gathering everything together was hard and very emotional, I even got very sick. I'm doing my best to stay positive, but I really wish my husband was here already. My friends are absolutely not supportive, which makes things harder. Just my family has been a great help. Thank God for them.

Sent the RFE on Thursday Sep 9th, God willing I hear from them soon.

Sending some positive vibes to everyone who is waiting for their NOA2 :goofy:

~ Sofi :cry::rolleyes:
