Mmmmm......Timbits!:wub: I will be following both NVC threads, cuz I don't want to lose touch with my other buds from here. On a serious note though, I noticed that NSC had a big backlog of Dec and Jan filers a while back...a much bigger list than the other service centers, and I wish I knew what gives. I think I am feeling some kind of "survivors' guilt" or something...I really do feel bad for you guys who have been waiting so long. If they would only just tell you what is going on instead of making you jump through a million flaming hoops. I know I was getting frustrated with my wait...I can only imagine how you guys feel. All I can do is offer up my strongest prayers and good vibes and hope with you that you get approvals soon. (L)(L)

Soooooooo!!! Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (sorry for the language)

So, I called USCIS center, spoke to a tier 2 officer this afternoon. He swore up and down that I have not been RFEd last week on the 14th, and my case has been assigned to an officer at the CSC yesterday, and I should be hearing from someone about it by the end of this week.

Unreal - 2 people talk me I was RFE'd, this guy told me my case has just now been assigned.

What in the hell do I do??

Called back again, spoke to another tier 2 agent.

This guy told me that the original RFE was from Nebraska, it doesn't matter now though since the RFE isn't mailed out to me. It is in a new agent's hands at the CSC, and I should hear something within the next 48 hours if I am passed, or RFE'd. So the whole process begins again for me, but he said the security checks are done and we passed those, which is nice.

The tier 2 agent broke the process down for me - It's few months of security checks, your SO's name being run through their databases, when that is cleared youre sent to the next step which is the box opening ceremony with the USCIS agent/officer who then browses your file. which takes up to 48 hours/1/2 weeks depending on the USCIS center.

Wow. Just, wow. Love the way the stories fly at USCIS! Happy to hear that you have finally (hopefully) have found out what is really happening with your case. Hopefully by the end of this week for you. I'm rooting for you! :)
