Well, I did my e-request, I have a senator backing the paperwork which is a good friend of the family, 6month, 2nd week starts tomorrow - so hopefully we'll hear something or have some fog cleared monday.

Also, the scary part - a month and 2 weeks I believe ago, I was transferred to TSC, then CSC. CSC is known to be lightning fast, and its moving like a snail for me.

Well I got my InfoPass meeting tomorrow, I don't know if that'll be a good thing or a bad thing. Hopefully it'll cure some of the confusion, or more vague responses :P.

Infopass for what?

at your appt, be sure to confirm where your case is. at our appt, the uscis rep when on believing our case was transferred from tsc to the local office in mesquite. which was not so, we are now at the NBC !!! When we called for a status update we were told our case was now at mesquite, the local office, then on friday past we got another notice our case was officially at NBC ("to speed things up"!!).

be as firm and pleasant as you can, get answers that your happy and can live with.

let us know how it went.

mrs thb's recommendation for us going over 6 months, they cure confusion, and all kinds of things with it.

You get some vague answers, but some good answers at the same time, my goal is to not rely on nyquil to sleep come tomorrow morning so I can finally rest after 6 months and 1 week.

But who knows, most cases are approved in the 6 month region, tomorrow we can all be approved! :P

don123 anyone can apply for an info pass appt as soon as they graduate to the 6 month mark.

it is only really helpful if iyou have had no correspondence with your service center, which you have had. but should you not hear back in a timely manner then i'd be scheduling an info pass appt. you do this online.

some people have a local office really close, others have to drive 2-3 hours. its your choice. some have spoke highly about their appts others, well, not so well. i guess its all in the approach.

cheers to hearing fabulous news this week peeps!!!!!:dance::dance:

So being that I got an e-request, do I qualify for an info pass? And If I do, what would be the reason? I tried one online and the reasons kinda don't match at all to what's going on.

hmmmmmm, i dunno then.

it was suggested to me, by NLR (one of the many most famous and knowledgeable posters) to put in one. guess she suggested it because we were unsuccessful at getting a service request online and by phone (2x). then we received notice of transfer to a local office because ??? (we still don't know...and since then an additional transfer to NBC (which they stated was to speed up processing)).

so for us it only made sense to put in an info pass request and got an appt the very next day.

try anyways.....choosing the reason that best fits your case.

fingers crossed for you dehiguey23!!!

My dear friends and almost family, it is with great pleasure and happiness that I can give you all this message: "On August 15, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283".

I'm extremely happy! I do want to tell my buds Don123, and Mrs thb that this happened in a very weird way, but also everyone else please check this out: I got the text and email last night (Sunday the 17th) at 11:00pm on the dot even though I've been approved since Friday and I've been checking twice an hour even over the weekend and it showed up as pending still!! So when you least expect it it'll happen for you too! I want to thank Dualie for praying for us all and for crossing her fingers and toes lol, it works better when the toes are closed too!! But most importantly, I want to thank God for having given me the patience to withstand this excruciating painful first step. I will be here until Mrs thb and Don123 get approved! We're here for you guys!! Love ya all!!
