I-130 feb 2014 filers

Applied i130 in january as my wife is LPR. next month she has interview for naturalization. Hopefully she will get it and we can upgrade to IR soon. My PD is feb 2. Will it be the same after upgrade? Any advise? Thank you

Just called USCIS, They told me NCS has proccessed files up to March 16th, 2014 -__- When according to all the people from December, January AND February, they are soo messed up in their processing. Idk what to do other than just sit and hope my request is answered before the 29th of this month. I'm already in my 7th month of waiting now just at Nebraska Service Center, not even at Visa Center yet. so discouraged.

I was able to put in an a service request online and it says to expect a reply by 9/2/14.

Priority date is 2/24. Nebraska servicing center and never transferred.

k, so our case got transferred to a 'local office'.

turns out local office is mesquite, texas.

uscis says that we should hear something by sept 8, 2014

so much for a 5 month processing rate!!!!

but I must remain positive.. the waiting and anxiety is getting the best of me...

btw, anyone know why mesquite???

and any advise on hubby (usc) making an info pass appointment to get more info and get things rolling?

Well, in my case, I put in a service request, and simultaneously a "change of address" by phone (since they won't accept 'foreign' address on their web form that asks for foreign addresses...). NOA2 came shortly after for both spouse and stepson, but I just woke up to an email saying that as a result of the change of address (your quote above), spouse had been moved back to "initial review".

The incompetence of these people is simply breathtaking.

Does anyone know what it means when you are given a response date for an eRequest ?

Anyone has seen some approval happening after an eRequest ?

Just curious for those of us who submited those eRequest the last few days if we would be bounced around again or actually get some approvals out of it..... What have you guys noticed ??

it means they are reviewing your case right now and will proceed with expedite decision after case is reviewed. so, my guess is they were reviewing your case as you put in for an expedite. so, before they proceed with an expedite they want to be sure everything with your case is in order. 20-30 days wait isn't bad....at least you know someone is looking at your case. the rest of us, wait in limbo!!!! lol
