I already put in for one, and I should hear something by August 27. Geez, I hope to have the approval by then...lol!

We're doing a bike trip to Sturgis right now and only able to check threads with wifi.

I'm surprised you were able to put in an e request.

We tried yesterday,again and the auto reply came back as unable to process as we are still inside processing range. So, we called. Spoke with Nancy. She said Texas was working on Nov. 18! So, we questioned the 5 month processing average that uscis website states for Texas. She said it had no bearing. She told us there was nothing we could do for another 1.8 months!!!!! Needless to say any shred of hope we had for hearing any news soon is gone.

What is happening in Texas....other than nothing??? Anyone else here from Texas? We're you able to put in an e request?

We're so disillusioned right now. This process is consuming us. We have little faith in the system.

We're very happy things are moving elsewhere (ie cases transferred from NSC to CSC) but don't understand the inequities or inconsistencies. There is something very fundamentality wrong here!

We're on vacation and really trying to be happy and hopeful but it's a true challenge.

Soooooo sorry to hear that! No wonder I haven't seen you much here, but enjoy your happy times together, just remember that every day that passes is a day closer to being together. Hopefully Texas will pick up the pace, I'm sure it'll happen. I'm still waiting for ours, but I know soon it'll come :D

Six months have passed and I really want to file an e-request (it's better to contact uscis rather than doing nothing, right? ;-)

The problem is that it's asking for a U.S. mailing address, but my mailing address that was on the i130 application is outside of the U.S.

Anyone figured a way around this problem? Should I just find a number to call instead?

I just used my husband's US address. :)

I had no trouble with it. Just put in my email, the husband's US address and the receipt number. Maybe because I am still in Nebraska...I don't know what the bejeebers Texas is doing and why you would still be considered within processing times. -_-<_<

Have a happy vaycay and try to let go of this while you're there. Have a good time and maybe, just maybe...you will come back home to good news! I'm pulling for ya!

I cannot believe the inconsistencies that exist within American government agencies!!!!

I must truly question dual citizenship when the time comes.

For a second day in a row we contact uscis to get a service request.

This what were told today....

By Pedro.....

"For TSC....we are working on cases from January 27, 2014. I will try to put in a service request". W t f???

Yesterday nancy said we were working on cases from Nov 18.

I'll keep you posted what they tell us tomorrow......cuz we'll be calling again!!!!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. We're praying for you too!

Shah1122 - Yes inshaAllah!! I'll do that! Thank you so much!

~~~~~~~~~~~~Thanks to everyone for your encouragement. I sincerely appreciate it!!~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm not using an attorney for any of this, but i did seek counsel prior to starting the process. One of the things I remember the attorney saying was that I should be prepared for such inquiries. My case would be scrutinized based on the prejudice that "Pakistani people do not marry non-Pakistanis".
It's really sad, but what can we do, it is what it is. My hubby and I are working on the packet to send them and God willing will have it ready by next week. It's just a matter of printing out photos and writing narratives. I believe we have everything we need.
Thank you SofiWaits. Patience, yes, is a must.
You be extra diligent with your package. Add more than you need as far as proof goes. Phone bills, skype chats, photos, advifdates, etc. I'm praying for you....it should be just a few weeks once they receive it. Good luck!
Today looks like a bright sunny day....maybe a fab day for riding to Mount Rushmore!!!
Smiles to my bj friends!
This is so unpredictable and frustrating.
I was looking at the timeline to get an estimate on when I would get NOA2 and how long from them to Interview.
I found so many NSC applicants, mostly from Philippines ,France and Mexico who got NOA2 is barely under a month, and their whole prcoess took 5-6 months.
Either these applicants put in incorrect information or this is seriously weird. ...................
