Was not expedited. I have to call my representative back to see if he actually had anything to do with it. I suspect not because only about two days after contacting him I got the rfe. When I checked other cases that were received on the same day as mine about half had gotten approvals and a couple of them got rfe's also.

Congrats! What was the RFE about if you don't mind sharing?

RFE was for my proof of citizenship (sent my new passport) and also proof of intention of marriage (sent over 300 pages of various chatlogs, joint bank account, and life insurance policies). I highly recommend giving them everything you have from the get go. They want proof so give it to them.

I have kept pretty much every conversation I've had with my wife on Facebook and whatsapp, also, I ordered the past 6 months of call logs from tmobile and that alone are countless hours of phone convos, but the only joint accounts I have with her (which are not really joined accounts) are 2 credit cards that I ordered with her name on them so she can use them if need be, but as far as bank accounts, how can I put her in there if she doesn't even live in the US and doesn't have a ssn? You think that the thousands of phone calls may be enough if they RFE us for proof? What u think?...

APPROVED!!!

So that's three people here that just got approved within the past few hours (got the email around 5 AM, it's currently 8 AM here in France - so officially approved on July 16th). I hope the rest of you get approvals soon too!

Our NOA1 was Feb 19th. Approval came a mere 9 DAYS after being transferred to California Service Center. :)

No RFE...I felt ridiculous including16 pages of screenshots of hundreds of emails and chatlogs, but I guess this was necessary.

New problem - The average time to interview from NOA2 is 143 days, and we have to leave Europe in 164 days. NO IDEA if the interview will happen before or after the date that we have to leave Europe (December 28). Should we switch consulates now? or later? Or wait and see?

2012 July 1: Met in Switzerland <3

2014 Jan 23: Married in Cyprus!

2014 Feb 2: I-130 Packet Shipped

2014 Feb 19: NOA-1

2014 July 7: Email Notice of transfer to California Service Center

2014 July 16: Approved!!!!

2014 August 29: Sent AOS packet

2014 December 19: Sent IV packet

2015 March 25: Case complete at NVC (apparently it was forgotten, which is why it's >90 days)

2015 April 16: P4 email received, interview date assigned

2015 May 28: Interview date!! -- Visa Rejected, "missing" paperwork.

Wrong military papers. Not enough Intent to Return to the US. I cannot be financial sponsor because I am overseas.

2015 June 18: Mailed all missing documents.

2015 June 23: Consulate rec'd missing documents.

2015 June 25: Status moved to AP. But still lists status as "SEND DOCUMENTS". Emailed...

2015 Aug 6: Received Visa in mail

2015 Aug 18: Arrived in US

Just got an email that we got approved...and we didn't expedited either. Priority date 20 feb

Wow how nice to know! :). Did you send a bunch of proof of marriage like emails between you and your partner, or anything else? Seems like lots of people did that and I didn't and that makes me nervous. I have call logs which are thousands ready to send them if they ask, but I just don't wanna imagine that the only way to get approved is by showing evidence.

Nope we didn't send any of that, but we've been married for almost 4 years and have 2 kids, and been living together overseas, with join accounts :)

We didn't send any proof either, so we're in the same boat here. I have so much proof but was going to take it to the interview but if they want it I can surely send it.

Aahhh, that explains it! Hehehe...Well, I hope that all goes perfect with my wife and I, we're pretty much newly weds, literally in Nov. Of 2013, and no kids together. She lives overseas and I live here in the great US of A! Only God knows how and when ours will be approved. I don't know why some people that are Feb 28th or 15th or whatever are getting approved and we're not even though we're Feb. 10th :(

Does anybody know the truth about if either the petitioner (myself) or beneficiary (wife) move from one address to another for whatever reason, it'll cause the process to delay even longer? Is that true or is that false?
