Hi, everyone

Just checking in to share that we have received the following email notifications just now:

If I understand it correctly, this means that we're going the IR-1/CR-1 route because my petitions for I-130 and I-129F have been adjudicated.

So I guess our USCIS journey has ended; we're now moving on to NVC. I'm seriously at a lost for words because it does feel surreal to receive such good news when you least expect it. In fact, my cousin and I were just talking about my petition papers a few minutes before I received these email notifications.

I have updated our timeline to reflect this change. I hope this helps those who are in the same situation/case as ours to give them a rough estimate on when to expect the decision on theirs.

Anyway, that's all. For the first time in several months, I'm going to get a good night's sleep.

Cheers to all!

Congrats!!!! Must feel amazing!!

I didn't send anything because the officer didn't mention anything about showing evidence she just wrote the report. My aunt is a doctor can I get a letter from her? Or should I try to contact someone in the presidencia ?

You need to get a letter from the goverment, its not easy mexican politicians wont accept whats going on even though eveybody in the world know about it, I was lucky because the mayor is part of my family and the senator a really good friend of my dad, you need to cantact however is in charge in the city u or ur spouse leave, I will also recommend to get a resident letter, from the goverment to prove that the person is actually living there, I got it too, itz what my lawyer told me to do, we also got a bunch of newspapers, internet articles, my lawyer said they need to be recent, from the last 6 months or so, you also need to send a copy of ur mexican ID, we havent send it yet, but we have all this info :)

It said something like we regret to inform you that you request was denied. :/

Seems like yours is doing well then. Nebraksa Center right? Did you send any proof ? Or what did you tell the officer ?

Im at texas service center, you need to send a letter from any type of goverment, senator or mayor, they cant call and u need to get a certificated translation of it and send it too, if u want to get expedite you need to give them a strong reason. I dont know if you can do it again if u already did it, u should call your atty or somebody that have experience with this kind of topic.
