Folks so once petition is approved, case will be send to NSC ? Then they review the case and send it to embassy/ consular for interview right?

How long would it take til the embassy can issue the visa?

Case is sent to NVC where you pay bills AOS and IV, submit AOS and then IV package. Once case complete, your file is then sent to embassy/consular where you will have your interview. In my case, I'm from Canada, so NVC notifies me of interview date, case arrives at consulate where I have my interview. If approved, you surrender your passport so they can insert visa and passport is returned soon thereafter. Then you POE!!! And live happily ever after, ahhhh!

That's normal. 2nd time around for me (i have 2 stepdaughters) - my priority date is 1/31/14 so i joined feb filers. Next month is when we should see some movement. I know it's hard to wait but trust me, it all works out.

Thanks MatthewMaria, the problem is like most here, when it's with our spouses, it's more difficult sometimes because one or the other gets depressed or anxious. For example, my wife had never ever been with anyone before, and so when we married and I had to come back to work and all that, it really hurts her, to the point where we just talk non stop on the phone...it just hurts man...
