Hi everyone,

Seems that we are all pretty much on the same boat. I submitted the I-130 as follows:

2/19/2014: Submitted I-130 via FedEx to Phoenix, AZ

2/20/2014: Received by USCIS

2/28/2014: Received NOA1 :dancing:

I have also sent the I-129F to try to speed up the process but I have not received any notification that it has been accepted yet. USCIS received it on 3/19/2014. Seems I-129F may be obsolete at this point since the processing time is the same for both forms now.

My I-130 was routed to Nebraska and at this point, we are just waiting :clock:

I have a question for you all. I noticed on this thread that some people mention a priority date. Is that priority date only for LPRs that requested their spouse? I am a US Citizen and I don't see such a priority date on my NOA1. Please let me know if I am mistaken.

Thank you!

 God's timing is always perfect. . . :star:"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" (Luke 1:45) ^_^

I-130 Petition (Spouse): 2/20/14: NOA1; 8/18/14: NOA2

Hi,

I had the same issue when I tried checking on USCIS' website with the case number. The way I got around it was by creating an account and adding the case to my portfolio. Go to USCIS' website and create your account, add the case to the portfolio, sign up for emails & text notifications and just continue monitoring here and there.

Website is below. Go to where it says "Sign up for case updates" and register as an applicant customer. Just follow the instructions from there forward. Good luck!

My I-130's also at Nebraska, and I also filed an I-129f at about the same time as you, which also got routed to Nebraska. You occasionally see stories here of K3s being approved, so for those of us in a hurry, I'd say it's still worth filing an I-129f just on the off chance it would speed up the process.

Since there are no quotas for immediate relatives (IR1) of citizens there are no priority dates (PD). The date on the NOA1 is the date they 'officially' received your application.

Well from what I read the K-3 interview and visa will be issued in the country the marriage took place. How the heck does that work for those of us who got married in one country and moved to another? Got married in Thailand and station in japan, is my wife (french citizen) supposed to go back to Thailand to wait for k3 visa?

Already file I-130, been a month and still no NOI2. Thanks
